Lucid Dream Alarm User Reviews

Works alright

The dream journal is useful but my entries often show up as (null) and are deleted after checking them

Nicely done

I like the simplicity of the journal and alert functions, and that there's no ads. The alarms are set to sound only once or at the most, twice, which is good, but as someone else mentioned, the sound level is a bit low. As the app itself warns, it will deplete the battery by 50% if you don't keep the phone plugged, which means, while you have the phone next to you on the mattress at night, you're gonna need to attach a long enough power cable. For that reason, I'd like to see an upgrade that – in addition to fixing the sound volume – can send alerts to the Apple watch.

Review

I liked the app and had a semi lucid lucid however i didn’t like how you only get two free uses before having to buy premium. Still, I like the fact that it is a one time purchase and no monthly fees for the upgrade.

Nice app buuuut

This is a really good app to find out your sleep schedule and to help you lucid dream, but I need a fan in my room cause it gets unreasonably hot, so it said I entered REM sleep at 7:30, all because it picks up sound.

Reality Check Broken

The sound for reality checks defaults to IOS sounds, which largely defeats the purpose.

pretty noice

The alarm is great and very configurable and the app is simple. Everything is just easy. It’s cool that you can use this without an apple watch too. The only problem is that it takes up so much battery.

All you need for LD

First LD App on iPhone which is really useful. Contains all what’s needed for practicing LD: reality check reminders (works great with iWatch), dream journal and REM phase alarm. I use it everyday :)
Thank you for this App.

Amazing

10/10

Kinda Requires Apple Watch

Updated Review: (Ignore my old review, I just saw that it can track your REM period and assumed that it did this with vitals and stuff from an Apple Watch. I was wrong, this app works great!)

The old incorrect review: I can tell this is a good app for lucid dreaming IF you have an Apple Watch. I was under the impression that you just start a sleep session and the alarm goes off a few hours later. I didn’t know that you need an Apple Watch for this. Decent app, maybe just add the option to set alarms, that way people like me without an Apple Watch can still use the auto turn off alarm

Hello! An Apple Watch is not required. Everdream uses the microphone and accelerometer of your iPhone to measure sleep stages. You must place your phone on you mattress to transfer motion to the app.

Perfect

I have been using it as a reminder for reality tests and it’s been doing great

Super helpful

the alarm feature is amazing the fact it turns off automatically is literally everything 🙏🏼

To much paywall

Their are too many things you have to pay for but otherwise it is great

Uh U wanted a rate im here

Uh its Good I JUST WISH IT WOULD ACTUALLY WAKE ME UP WHEN IM IN REM IG I THINK

It’s not tracking the audio or vibrations, causing the alarm to not go off

It’s not tracking, and so the alarm doesn’t wake me up

Response from developer

Hello! Are you using another app at the same time for tracking your sleep? Everdream cannot work in the background if another app (Sleep Cycle for example) try to access background functionalities.

Love it

I love how i can set alarms and i really like the built in dream journal. I also enjoy the reality check remindeds.

Everdream

I am having problems with my alarm. Every time I start a session the alarm won’t go off at all in the night. Is there anything I can do it fix it?

Response from developer

Hello, Update 2.02 has just been released and it should solve your issue. Let me know if it's not the case!

Great all-in-one app for lucid dreaming practice.

Really liking the app so far. Not so sure about the sleep tracking accuracy, but I have tried using the DILD alarm and it got me close to a lucid dream.

If the app author is reading this, it would be really awesome if we could give a title to our dreams when we log them in the journal.
