How do I bloody stop my trial and why the hell I was already charged?!

The free trials expire after 14 days, there is nothing to stop. There is not an automatic progression from the trial to being charged - if you choose to purchase, you need to go through the explicit steps to make the purchase, at which point you will be presented with the Apple App store dialogues that show you what you are purchasing and ask if you want to proceed. The *only* way anybody is ever charged for anything is if they tap the 'purchase' button and agree to being charged. User error.
Incredible for Weather
Excellent, absolutely excellent, as a retired offshore helicopter pilot and a sailor weather has a lot to do with my day to day life. With LuckGrib it shows a very pictorial weather situation. This is a super app for anyone with an interest in weather.

Great for sailing decisions!
Our sailing program depends on several of the models in LuckGrib to help us decide if our 3 sailboats with 10 students can sail or reschedule. More thorough and accurate than the other popular weather apps.
Superb weather app
Extremely versatile tool for weather analysis and passage planning and routing. It’s not as automatic as PW, but is faster and offers better control of parameters and views. A great value for serious sailors.

BEST weather App EVER!
After 40,000 miles of using “big brand” apps that require a monthly subscription I couldn’t be happier with LuckGrib. PAY ONCE USE FOREVER. The layout and usability is very easy once you spend a few minutes with the included tutorials and from there it just gets better and better!

The best sailing weather and routing app
Simple the best and most advanced sailing weather and routing app out there - nothing else is even close. A little more upfront but a good investment and less expensive in the long run. We’ve been depending on it for years as we travel the world.
Absolutely splendid
A very complex complete app. It gives the used a easy to understand view for routing for a offshore voyage. I have used the routing feature on some local 1-2 day trips and find it to be quite accurate and easy to follow. Pretty steep learning curve (very complex subject) but excellent YouTube videos aided me in basic understanding.

What a useful tool
People think weather routing is only useful for long distance sailors. How wrong. The departure variations option lets you pick the right time of day for leaving considering wind (HRRR)and currents (NCOM) for the US east coast for example. Worked this summer multiple times and was very accurate. I love this app!

Fantastic Wind app!
We love LuckGrib and use it while cruising in the Pacific Northwest where wind is always on our minds (too much and too little).
The tutorial is very helpful, there is a large selection of forecast models to select from, and the graphic output is easily understandable.
There is a bit of a learning curve but that is true of all Grib file apps. Give it a chance and I think you’ll be impressed!

Amazing
Smooth yet powerful user interface is a pleasure to use. Ease of accessing ASCAT data alone is worth the price of admission. Extensive documentation tells you a lot about the developer's attention to detail. Very reasonable pricing model--no subscriptions!
Forget the weather apps
Interpretation of wind conditions at a certain point in time on the route has never been easier. Use this and you don’t need any other weather app anymore as a watersports enthusiast. Forever.

Wonderful app, superb support
Easy to use and excellent routing output. Compares very favorably to other routing apps. Must have. Support is top.
Frustrated.
I have constant problems with the app. I download grib, import a route and set a start time and it says “no wind data for start time”. Yet I have the wind data for the start time. Seems like some issues with the app that are unresolved.

Please send all questions to craig@luckgrib.com. If the app is saying "no wind data for start time", then trust it, it is reporting correctly - the combination of start point and start time is not contained within a GRIB file. If you are convinced that the start time is valid, check the start point. Send me details and I'll help you figure it out.

Fantastic app
This is a really excellent resource at a very reasonable price compared to the competition. The app is intuitive and has a good range of tutorials to bring you quickly up to speed.
