Simply Perfect

I stumbled into this app looking for an alternative to Razer Nexus’ clunky UI. I wanted something that could provide a console like experience on the iPhone. This is it, and so much more. Ludi is easily the best game launcher on the App Store, bar none. What really makes this stand out for me is the absolutely endless customization this has. I really cannot recommend this app enough, I love it!

Great game launcher, looks very sleek and works great

I don’t write very many reviews at all here, I am a real person lol but I guess I just wanted to give some praise to this app and its developer especially since this launcher works and looks great all for free. The only hiccup is just that it has to go through the shortcuts app to launch your games but it’s really not an issue at all, it just pulls up the shortcuts app for half a second right before launching the game, but it automatically sets this up for you, just asks for your approval and it’s done. Looks great and allows you to customize the look of the interface as well as each games app icon and its background image within the launcher which is a really nice touch. I also really like that it displays my controllers battery level inside the launcher, and in iOS you can set up your PS/xbox/home button to open this launcher app instead of opening the Apple exclusive games app, most other controllers have some sort of similar button to these that you’d find on console buttons for opening the “home” menu. Great work and thanks to the developer, this is an incredible free game launcher, especially considering other ones available on the App Store like the backbone game launcher requires a subscription for full functionality.

Thank you for bringing back transparency. But the new widget and gifs clash with the clean look you sacrificed so much to realize. I raised the rating for the transparency.

Every element is taiolred to match to the design identity. Also those features are optional for customization purprose.

Awsome but…

I’ve used this since it first came out and had no problems. Had the perfect ui setup until this new version. Some of my favorite settings were changed like the customizable bottem bar or the special “gameflow” mode. Overall I would highly recomend

I don’t like the new interface

They took features out , mainly customization and the transparency is too opaque.
The app is published on iOS 26 and is actually only optimized for iOS 27.
This is bad , change my review to neutral because I still love the idea behind this app, but the new direction is bad.

LudiHub has a clear design identity. It replaced the dummy buttons with a functional menu bar. Update: The transparency will return with the next update for custom wallpapers

New update does not hit..

I had everything set up perfectly. I had custom actions set up with the bottom buttons to access web browser, messages, App Store, ProDocktive, etc all from the bottom section and it was all just ripped away for an interface that’s worse than previous versions. I loved what this app was doing but this new interface could have just been added as an option and not forced. Settings looks better I guess?

The new version brought a refined user experience with a clear design identity, animations, colors and performance. The dummy menu bar was replaced with a functional navigation bar that is the core of LudiHub. You can still add your apps in the grid together with your games.

Great app, but one suggestion.

This app is a great for someone who uses a controller with their iPhone. I’d would like it if you could add web app support, so I can add Xbox Cloud.

10/10 would recommend. I haven’t encountered any bugs and everything about this app is amazing.

Thank you for your feedback. You must be having the display zoom set to bigger text. The app doesn’t support zoomed in or small displays. Try turning the bigger text/zoomed layout off from your device settings. The missing text will be also fixed.

Update fixed main issues with launcher.

New update fixed the issue I had with the app. It now has an easy to use shortcut creator that helps the process become seamless. Thanks to dev for reaching out and helping me with this.

Great alternative for controllers without dedicated apps

This app allows you to sign Shortcuts to the front page to quickly access your games in a unified and simplistic UI. It also lets you select custom quick apps at the bottom as well. Anyone who rates this app less than five star does not understand how to use Shortcuts. This is a fantastic app and well worth the five dollars in my opinion as I am using a game sir X5 light. Highly recommended.

Doesn’t work and too much

If you release a game launcher for 4 bucks, it better be easy to use and actually work. This one does neither. Buyer beware, look elsewhere.
