What's New in Lumaris POINT
1.1.0
August 27, 2026
POINT now plays the music. Original instrumentals, written for the places you walk, playing inside the app. Tap PLAY MUSIC on the walk screen. You get the track name, one line about it, and skip forward or back with one tap. You never leave the map. It keeps playing with the screen off, and the narration talks over the music rather than cutting it off. Thirteen pieces in this release. Nine for Route 66, one for every state it crosses and one for the detour, in road order from Illinois to California. Four for Chicago. Route 66 now runs end to end. It begins at Adams and Michigan, where the Begin Historic Route 66 sign stands, and it finishes at the pier in Santa Monica. On the way out it names the corner at Olympic and Lincoln, because that is where the road officially ended. The famous sign on the pier came later, and the app says so. Set the Mood is two switches now. Play music, or do not. Suggest a scent, or do not. Nothing alternates and nothing guesses. Still free. No account, no ads, nothing uploaded, nothing sold.
