Your GM runs Lumen on their Mac or PC. You open Lumen Viewer on your iPad. When they share a map, handout, or piece of art, it appears on your screen instantly. That's it. Lumen Viewer works with all game systems available for Lumen Screen, including D&D 5th Edition (2024), 13th Age Second Edition, and Night's Black Agents.

This whole release focused on viewer improvements. The changes include - Phone support: the viewer is no longer iPad only - Expanded content area: A new UI design strips away most of the UI and lets the images take center stage - Connectivity and reliability improvements: Two major connectivity bugs were squashed, and some minor quality of life improvements were added - Event log on the settings screen: System log messages are visible on the settings screen and can be sent along with bug reports - Numerous behind the scenes updates to enable future features.
