This app has truly changed my life. I was struggling with lust and a lack of real connection, feeling disconnected and searching in the wrong places. Lumen helped center me again and brought me back to what truly matters, a relationship with God.
Through months of consistently doing the Daily Bread, I began to experience a transformation from the inside out. WAY MORE than a search engine.
Lumen has made it incredibly easy for me to find and explore the Bible in a way that feels approachable and meaningful. I can search for any verse or chapter in seconds—even when I only have a vague idea of what I’m looking for. The Guide feature has been especially helpful in narrowing things down and pointing me in the right direction.
What I really appreciate is that it’s not just a search tool. Lumen also provides clear summaries that help me better understand what I’m reading, which makes a big difference when trying to reflect on the message.
I’ve also been enjoying the morning notifications with the daily Gospel. They’ve become a nice part of my routine, and I like that they come with thoughtful interpretations that help me connect more deeply with the reading.
Another feature I find meaningful is being able to select what I’m currently struggling with and having The Guide create a personalized path to help me work through it. It feels very intentional and supportive.
I’m especially looking forward to the Threads section. I think having a space where people can share their stories and build a sense of community will make the experience even more powerful.

This app truly lets you express yourself and allow others to walk the path of God alongside you. Having a space to do this comfortably with others who are also open to sharing themselves is great for building a community that is based on relationships with God.
