A period calendar that stays on your iPhone.
A FORECAST THAT DOESN'T OVERPROMISE
Cycles vary, even the ones that run "like clockwork". So Lumi shows a range rather than a
date — and tells you beside it how much that range can be leaned on, and how many of your
own cycles it rests on.
A forecast is always visibly separate from what you logged yourself: a solid fill is a
fact, a dashed outline an estimate. No phase is distinguished by colour alone.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR IPHONE
The app makes no network requests at all. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no ad
modules. Your records sit in the device's storage under its own encryption — there is
nowhere to send them and nothing to send them with.
You can lock the app behind Face ID or your passcode, hide its contents in the app
switcher, and choose one of four icons, none of which says what the app is for. The widget
is discreet by default: it shows the cycle day without naming what that day is.
NO THREE-MONTH WAIT
A forecast becomes meaningful from the third cycle. If you remember your earlier periods,
you can mark them during setup — and the app is useful straight away.
YOUR HISTORY STAYS YOURS
Export to a file: a full copy the app can read back on a new phone, and a spreadsheet for
Numbers or Excel. Deleting erases everything and means it — history, day entries, what was
written to Health, and every scheduled reminder.
Health sync is optional and off to begin with. What you log here is written there; what
Health already knows, from an Apple Watch or another app, is folded in.
ALSO INSIDE
• Symptoms, mood and notes by day
• Cycle length and period length over time
• Reminders discreet enough to read on a lock screen in public
• Four colour themes, light and dark
• Dynamic Type and VoiceOver: at accessibility sizes the month becomes a list rather
than shrinking; each day is read out in full, not as a bare number
• Russian and English
• Free. No purchases, no subscription, no ads
WHAT IS NOT HERE
Not one screen that frightens you. Lumi never says "you are late" — it counts the cycle day
up and says the period has not been marked yet. And it never raises pregnancy because a
period is late.
Lumi is not a medical device, does not diagnose, and must not be used as contraception.
Forecasts are estimates. For questions about your health, consult a clinician.
