Drain battery fast on ios 18.1
A good app news for Malaysians, but when i open this app, battery starts to warm up. I cant really enjoy to read the news much, this app drains iPhone battery fast ☹️
Will be sticking around for long
Me and my husband are in our early 60s. Lumi News is user friendly for us to use either when we use our phones or tablet. It’s definitely suitable for all ages. We appreciate the layout, loading speed is fast, adjustable texts (useful for aunties like me), and an even option to turn off ads for certain publishers.

2. Tap on notification
3. Lumi loads, shows Lumi logo splash screen
4. Goes to main page instead of the article
One issue that keeps me from frequently using this news app is, tapping the notification does not lead to the article page, which can be very annoying. What I mean is, every time a notification of a news shows up on my iPhone, if I find it interesting I’d tap the notification and expect it to bring me to the article for me to read. But nope, I’d say 8-9 of out 10 times it just brings me to the news feeds and the article is nowhere to be seen. There are other areas that can use some improvement but knowing this is a rather new news app I’d give it time to bring new improvements. Hope the notification issue can be looked into.

Excellent app for news
I really like this app and it really curates all the news into one place and i can continue reading from multiple news sources. However, the only issue I had was this, whenever there’s a banner notification on some news which I am interested in, it doesn’t point to the news directly, instead it leads to the app.

Good & can be improved
I really hope that Lumi will make useful Widgets for quick glance news 😉
App crash with latest update
With latest update, cannot open the app. Click the app icon but it close down while try to load. Uninstall n installed but still face the same issue. Used iOS 12.5.7
