Always requires money, Dictating their reviews…

It’s such a waste of time simply because it tries to create you a plan before introducing you to the app and when you follow the instructions that the app gives you it just automatically directs you to a free trial for three days and after that, you are billed annually. Offers absolutely nothing free of cost. Regarding the developer response, I am more than sorry to inform that it wouldnt be possible for me to take down my review whatsoever. Trying to moderate your own review section and dictating the reviews only helps worsen the circumstance. Additionally, this is an AI based app, who do you even have to pay in loads? There is no real human doing things inside of the app, it is merely an automated AI system, which you develop once and let do it’s job. I also emphasized the fact that the app does not directly say that it requires a subscription in the beginning. It makes you waste your time creating a certain plan, and then comes with the subscriptions page. In-app purchases could also be stated in the App Store, but that in no way means that your whole creation can merely be accessed with money. In-app purchases could mean ANY purchase, it does not indicate that a specific app directly requires money to operate. How could I also improve my speaking skills with a three-day free trial? That contradicts fully with the aim of the app. Coming from a small team from you, as you previously stated in your response, these elements are only going to bring you minus points. I sincerely suggest you primarily focus on your app and it’s features, rather than trying to rig the reviews section. Wish you the best of luck going onward.

Lumi offers a completely free trial with access to all exercises, games and unlimited speech credits, followed by flexible weekly and monthly subscriptions at some of the lowest prices in the market. All plans are clearly specified on the App Store description before even downloading, and Apple also indicates that Lumi contains in-app purchases. Behind Lumi are real people who have spent years developing their expertise and countless hours building the games, expert-designed training and sophisticated low-latency voice technology that lets you speak, practice and receive detailed feedback in real time. The technology also costs us money every time it is used. We completely understand that not everyone can pay for an app, but as a small team, we simply cannot ask our people to work for free, we don’t want to add ads or use our users data to monetize in any way as that is against our moral principles and so we’re not sure how to address your feedback. One-star reviews genuinely hurt a small team like ours and make our work harder for others to discover.

I WISH I found this sooner!!!!

I’m a fulltime content creator and this has genuinely been a game changer for me! I’m constantly talking on camera, and this has helped me become so much more confident and intentional with the way I speak. I love that I can actually practice and improve instead of just hoping I sound better over time lol.
