Increasing requirements without notice

The new update increased the exercise and standing requirements from 10min/day and 6 times to 30min/day and 12 hours respectively. This makes it nearly impossible to complete if you don't wear the watch the entire day. Would suggest using Healthy365 instead where there is no stand requirements.

great implementation

It’s a really good app. helps you get in balance. there prizes for trying to accomplish your goals. helps you get ready and get in shape

Bugs and Unrealistic goals

Recently keeps getting issue in logging the workout needed, e.g. Level Up Your Cardio Fitness goal is not getting updated despite completing at 20min outdoor run. Please fix the bugs, and stop increasing the Move Cal count to so high numbers.

Its good most of the time…

Have been completing challenges and collecting points. Recently, i am unable to view my wellness challenges or complete quizzes. The app seems to hang after i select a challenge and i cannot read “How to Play”. I am unable to do the quiz too as the option to take the quiz is not highlighted.

Rewards laziness, penalizes being active

If you constantly close your move ring, this stupid algo raises your goals every week until it reaches a ridiculous number of calories per day. When you raise this issue with them, they say it is to encourage more activity.

I’m at 800 move calories per day and I have to do that 6 days a week to get the same number of points that someone can get doing 300 calories for 4 days a week.

No more wellness challenges?

I’ve been using this app regularly but recently it has stopped showing any wellness challenges to achieve. It’s rather disappointing as I always enjoyed these challenges and motivation to remind myself on the ways to keep good mental health and other health reminders etc. I’m hoping that someone can look into this. Other than that it’s a good app to keep fit.

Decent app though occasionally buggy and rather repetitive.

Scam

Terrible app. Half the time you don’t get credited points from accomplishing tasks. Why does HPB choose to sub-contract the app to subpar developers?

Good idea, great implementation, immensely BUGGY

The app is a great idea from a public health perspective. Pity the app is let down by poor coding quality control. Each release fixes a few bugs but introduces and equal number of new bugs. Some tighter quality control will go a long way.

Some of the coding logic doesn’t even make sense and does reflect badly on the developers. Simple logic like number of days left in a week vs number of days remaining in challenge can’t even be properly implemented. It’s like a complete variable confusion - or maybe the coder cannot be bothered.

Either way, reflects poorly on the development team which is a shame because I’m sure there are some pretty good developers involved, tarnished by some slipshod work of others.

Manual workout entry detected

Update: reported this issue and problem is solved after recent update. Customer supports are friendly and helpful!

I do my exercises with Apple Watch and my Garmin. Garmin also records workouts in Health app. Since the update, this message appears and the close of rings DO NOT count! What a bad practice implemented such constraint when there are activities from other apps the hard work of participants do not count, even with just one minute of exercise using other apps and the rings are even closed before using other apps. If your developers cannot figure out a way to identify the records logged by Apple Watch, you should not punish users in such way that not awarding users just because the existence of any entries from other apps other than Apple Watch.

Response from developer

Hi yrchern, we are currently looking into the issue on the interplay between LumiHealth app and third party apps. We hope to provide an update as soon as we can, and appreciate your kind understanding and patience on this.

Buggy

The app doesn’t always capture the challenges completed. That being so, it doesn’t credit you with the points earned.

Requires a SingPass

Why is this only available to Singapore residents?

Something went wrong (again and again)

This seems to happen more than not when trying to redeem coins. Such a pain

As usual, it doesn’t work

Just installed this and after only 10 times of trying to connect to SingPass, it continues to have an error message that says it can’t connect. Does anyone test the product before it launches?
