Timers got a serious upgrade. PICK EXACTLY WHICH LIGHTS Choose individual strips instead of whole groups. The porch posts can switch off at eleven while the roofline above them stays on — even when they're wired to the same output. ONE TIMER, ON AND OFF A timer now holds both times. "On at sunset, off at 11" is a single entry instead of two you have to keep in step. Set an off time past midnight and it knows you mean the next morning. SCHEDULE THE WHOLE YEAR Pick calendar dates or a date range — Halloween, or December 1st through January 5th — and switch on "repeat every year" so it comes back next year without being set up again. COLOUR AND EFFECT TIMERS Have the lights turn red at sunset or start twinkling at dusk. These could be picked before but never saved; now they work. KEEPS RUNNING WITHOUT INTERNET Your controllers store their schedules and fire them from their own clocks, so your lights still do the right thing if the Wi-Fi drops.
