Loved this app, including its nuance that the times projected were always from the user’s local time.
Since the last update, the app crashes seconds after losing. Every time. Hope it’s rectified or I’ll look for a replacement

Great but ads make it difficult to use
I have loved this app and been using it for years - they have just added advertising that pops up and covers the full page as you move around the map, makes it difficult to use.
No Azimuth
No Azimuth for sun/moon rise set that I could find (except by going to the predicted times). Waste of time.
Such a great app
I always use this app when i want to do sunbathing.
Popup in Thai(?) In launch, no option for English.
I LOVED the sun map app; it used to work fine. When I launched it yesterday a pop up appeared, with what looks like the Thai language, with two blue buttons. I can’t read Thai, so I have no idea what it said or what the two buttons were. There was no option to change the language and no way I could see to avoid the pop up and get the all to work without clicking on one of the two buttons.
I deleted the app and reinstalled from the App Store, but the same pop up remained. I deleted-reinstalled again today but same thing. Let me know when it’s fixed, I’d love to have this app again!

Good but...
Periodically incorrect with rise and set times. Useful other than that.
The best.
Zoom around , 600ks northwest. What’s sunrise, sunset? If you can guesstimate where you’ll be around sunset you won’t need signal. My job relies on sunrise/ sunset.

Good free app but not always accurate
This is a great free alternative to the Photographers Ephemeris but I have noticed a couple of times where the moonrise and moon set time is completely inaccurate. I use it for photography but don’t feel like I can always trust it so I have another moon app to compare the times to. But for a free app it generally does well.

Fascinating
It’s fascinating tracking the sun and moon. So clever being able to select any time or day, anywhere in the world. I’m considering moving house and this app was brilliant in showing me where my new home would get the sun. I know it does far more than I use it for, but I don’t understand some of the terms. Thank you to the developers.

Not bad, some features clunky or missing
I can’t seem to figure out how to use the location search feature to set the location - Loading the coordinates seems to always default it back to the current GPS location.
I am looking for an app that can display altitude angle at locations and times other than my own. Scrolling through time of day seems very slow, and doesn’t seem to change the altitude angle shown.

Works!
Works fine on iPhone and iPad. A very nifty app for knowing current and future location of sun and moon, as well as other cool facts. Works for current location or location of your choice.
Don’t need Google with this app!

Do almost the same as TPE but for free
And really don’t need all fancy features from TPE just where will be sun rise and set on the day what I want shown on map
Only what i miss is lock position button on map when u try to zoom in/out to see bigger area

Does not update on Watch
Useless on Apple watch. No response from developer. Please fix.
Total waste
Does not work at all on Apple Watch. Displayed only 5 of 8 sun times (rise/set/twilight), then hasn't changed in 3 days. Brain dead useless app for Apple Watch.
