This release gives the map a memory — and gets its speed back. • Press and hold anywhere on the fog to see when you first came here, when you were last here, and how many days and trips it adds up to. Drag the pin to fine-tune, and tap any visit to jump straight to that day (Pro) • Somewhere worth remembering? Tap "Mark this moment" on the map. Marks show up in that day's timeline, on the trip album map and in exported videos — and holding a date in the calendar lets you flag it with a symbol • Flights and trains leave a gap with no recording. You can now set the travel mode for those legs yourself; the map draws them as a dotted line • The fog is there the moment you open the app, and zooming no longer makes you wait. It used to get slower the further out you went and the longer you'd used the app; now a frame costs what's on screen, not what's in your history. The stutter and crashes on a fast zoom-out are fixed too • You can leave the page while a replay video exports. Progress follows you and you can cancel any time; if you're elsewhere when it finishes you get a notification, and the video is kept • The last 3 exported videos are kept, each with a thumbnail of the whole route — at the bottom of any share page, or in Settings → Exported films • Stay durations corrected: passing the same stretch of road twice is no longer counted as one multi-hour stop • Fixed a rare case where iCloud history didn't come back after deleting and reinstalling. "Create snapshot" now shows progress and when the last one was made, and if photos won't load after a reinstall you can restore them from any day or review page. Also: a new launch screen, years added to dates throughout, and less battery use
