About
An animal finds its home. A melody becomes a little puzzle. Colourful pictures turn into a pattern. Welcome to LumoLand: four lovingly illustrated worlds for curious children aged 6 to 8, with Lumi by their side and time to take things at their own pace.
Created by Mennilli Labs, LumoLand puts discovery first: look, listen, try and try again. Its 24 short rounds explore nature, imagination, music and greetings from around the world. No advertising, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
FOUR WORLDS OF LITTLE DISCOVERIES
Nature: Who lives where? Match animals with their habitats, choose the picture that fits and uncover matching pairs. Looking closely becomes a small adventure.
Fantasy: Explore colours, shapes and picture sequences. Notice patterns, repeat an order and sort things into place. There is room to experiment, one step at a time.
Music: Listen to instruments, recognise different sounds and repeat sound sequences. Background music gives way during focused listening, so the instrument can take centre stage.
Discover the world: Meet greetings and pictures from around the world through matching and sorting. What does Bonjour sound like? How do you say Ciao? Selected words have a listen button for hearing their pronunciation.
FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
Matching, choosing, sorting, repeating sequences and finding pairs give each round its own rhythm. Children can return to a round as often as they like. There are no leaderboards or answer countdowns turning a small puzzle into a race.
A correct answer receives clear visual confirmation. A mistake offers another chance to try. Feedback uses ticks and crosses as well as colour, helping children see the difference without relying on colour alone.
A LITTLE HELP AT THE RIGHT MOMENT
Read aloud lets children hear a task. Show me demonstrates its mechanics with an interactive example before they try it themselves. Watching an example does not count as completing a round. Understanding comes before earning progress.
The interface is available in German, English and Italian. Pronunciation and read-aloud use the device's speech system. Suitable installed voices are needed; parents may first need to add voice packs in the operating system. Once offline voices are installed, listening also works without an internet connection.
A SEPARATE PLACE FOR EACH CHILD
Three local play profiles keep progress and play time apart. Discovered rounds are easy to follow, and replaying a completed round does not count it as a new discovery. No child account or public profile name is required.
PARENT CONTROLS THAT STAY WITH THE FAMILY
On the first visit to the parent area, parents create a PIN directly. Inside, they can view progress, choose a daily play time limit for each profile, switch profiles and change the PIN. Leaving the protected area or restarting the app locks access again.
Resetting all game progress is a separate action: it clears discoveries while keeping the parent PIN and settings. A different action in the privacy area removes the app's local data. Families can choose the reset that matches what they actually need.
CALM PLAY, AT HOME OR ON THE MOVE
Music and sound effects have adjustable levels. Higher contrast and reduced motion are available in settings. Large controls and uncluttered rounds support play on iPhone and iPad. On iPhone Duo, the layout adapts as the device folds, unfolds and rotates.
The play content is included in the app. Progress, settings and play time stay locally on the device. There are no cloud profiles, chat, tracking or ads. With offline voices ready, LumoLand can join a little play break without relying on a connection.
It is not a race and it is not a public score. It is a place for a child to notice a sound, spot a pattern, make a choice and discover what happens next. Play together, listen closely and let Lumi accompany the next small moment of wonder.
