Misleading
This is an advert for a colour meter and a spot light meter app. It is not a colour meter.

Best Cine light meter
This is great app, and LuMu hardware is working great (exceptionally precise). I’ve compared it to Sekonic 858d and it’s giving more precise readings in light levels.
Color meter is in par with more expensive professional meters.

IMPORTANT ISSUE
This is great app, and LuMu hardware is working great (exceptionally precise) however there is a issue with Illumination section in app, specifically when measuring LUX value! It seems that LuMu app shows Lx value as FootCandle. I’ve compared it with Seconic L858d and it’s 10.7 times lower than it should be, which is exactly conversion number for Lx/Fc ratio!
So in conclusion, it’s great, precise tool, just beware that app shows Lx value in Fc.

Listen, I never write app reviews. I’ve never even thought to write an app review. But this is probably one of the greatest, feature rich apps I’ve ever used in any use case. Not only that, but it’s also so visually pleasing to look at, not to mention super well designed and laid out. Five enthusiastic stars!!

Best light meter app
This is the best light meter app, particularly for film photography. It is minimal and lets you confine F stops to better match older analog cameras. To the developer - please keep this updated!
Terrible customer service
Ordered the Lumu power 2 from them directly and never received it despite being charged. It's been over a month. They've ignored my email and the contact page in the app didn't work
No setup instructions it is trash
How do you set a fixed ISO? No instructions, nothing, nada, zip. Deleting app as it is pointless and useless for film.
Unusable
I set the iso of my film . When I metered the scene ,the iso kept changing on the meter reading. This makes the app unusable for shooting film .
Honestly
I first downloaded this at the beginning of my film journey, helped me walk through the door. Now, as a creature out of habit, I still use this app. I’ve learned the nuances of it, so after I meter for the highlights and or shadows I just kinda “have a feel” for it now and use it as a referencing point. And honestly, isn’t that what any light meter app is for with film? Just to give you a stable referencing point for you to play off of?

My Primary Meter
This is a fabulous and convenient product that I use on every photoshoot. The color meter mode is essential for my architectural work, and replaces my Gossen color meter. I rely on the incident meter mode as a starting point for my interior shots.
No colour temp meter on the free app
I specifically needed a colour temperature meter however, this is not available with the free app despite the fact it implies it is included. I’ve not tested the simple light metering so can’t give an opinion on that.
Perfect for spot metering
Started using this for metering 4x5 black and white. Using it in spot meter mode to put the darkest parts into zone -2 works brilliantly - just dial in a correction and find the spot you want. And keep an eye on the EV display to judge dynamic range. Allows you to take notes and location with a photo too - perfect.

This is a scam!!!!!
Don’t buy this product! I paid $499 and didn’t get anything after waiting for three months! Tried to ask for support many times and I got nothing back. It feels like the company doesn’t exist any more but they’re still prepared to take your money and not deliver the product. Very poor form. Anybody that’s thinking to buy, please think again. Don’t do it you’ll blow your money.. I really hope I get an answer soon. I seriously don’t think I will. These guys are criminals. Beware, Andy

No Longer Works
I purchased a Lumu Power Light Meter in 2017 and it’s been working great till the past two months. I’m able to connect the device to my phone and it seems like it’s working, but the color temp readout option doesn’t appear any more. I tried re-installing the firmware on the device from the app, then restore purchases, and even tried to buy the color temp option again. No luck. Contacted support three times now, and have not gotten a reply. Used to be a great product and app, however it’s gone south. Look elsewhere if you want to have a product that lasts. Sad.

Good overall but have some space for improvement
I like the simplicity of this app and the minimalistic design. The only thing that I would like to see is aperture priority mode.
Ordered the meter, never received, they ghosted me
I ordered the Lumu light meter with the lightning connector. They said it would ship in 1-2 weeks. It’s been 4 weeks and they are not responding to my emails.
