What's New in Luna Band and Ring

2.0.3

September 15, 2026

• Workouts you stop while your device is out of range are now finished and saved automatically once it reconnects, instead of getting stuck on "Waiting to reconnect your device". • Fixed crashes on iOS 26, and a crash when opening some lab report trend charts. • Fixed nights of sleep going missing when a background sync was interrupted. Your band also no longer syncs in the background before your wake time, so overnight tracking is not disturbed. • Sleep timings are more accurate: the app keeps your device's clock in sync, Sleep Debt now shows the correct carried-over figure, and you are warned if your phone's date and time are wrong instead of silently losing the night's data. • Fixed being signed out unexpectedly, and your data is now always attributed to the right device, even while it is disconnected. • Restart or shut down your device directly from Device Settings. • You can now delete auto-detected workouts. Recorded and auto-detected workouts can be deleted for today and the past three days, manually logged workouts on the same day. • Chat: browse your previous conversations, and a new chat now always starts fresh instead of continuing your last one. • Visual polish across the app: clearer status badges on Health Monitor, a proper disconnected state on the Device page, workout heart-rate graphs showing real clock times, chart labels that no longer overlap, cleaner Activity and Sleep cards, and a more accurate Circadian countdown.

Enjoying Luna band

I have had the band now for a week and a day. I wear it most places, but not for vigorous activities….it’s a little fragile, I think. It certainly is not waterproof. However, after a week and a day, it is at 41% battery! I find that extraordinary! Also, it picks up my sleep, my naps and all my walks. I have small wrists and it looks attractive on me.

I believe it is a work in progress, but find it very informative. I am still learning the app, but I find it interesting and mostly accurate as I compare it to my other trackers.

Looking forward to continuing good things from this band.

absolutely terrible.

ring was bad & inconsistent before but the new app just makes it pointless. not intuitive at all. no home page that breaks down sleep times vitals cycle and steps. bounce around all over and have to read everything in a circle which makes zero sense. why would i want to have to count dots on a circle to see when i ovulate? whose idea was that? a man’s? bring back a basic calendar and a functional app our eyes can actually read. literally doesn’t even tell you what time you fell asleep. i don’t have a clue of how i slept anymore either. they’re trying to do something different w their squares and circles but created an entirely new language our brains can’t compute. surely i can’t be the only one extremely dissatisfied w this switch. no idea how stressed i am ever or how well i’ve slept. it would take me weeks to sit on the app nonstop to even have a clue what was happening but app is now missing basic measurements … which i thought was the whole point.

Response from developer

Hi, I’m really sorry for how frustrating this experience has been, especially after waiting for updates and still not seeing reliable sleep and step tracking. I completely understand why that would make the data feel pointless. I’d like to personally review your case and help resolve this properly. Please email me at vinayak.suneja@lunazone.com so I can look into this for you. Vinayak, Product Experience Manager, Luna.
