Excellent Overall…

Lunascape is excellent overall. Some suggestions to make it even better: 1. Bring back night mode for websites 2. Finer adjustment increments for text size 3. Auto light/dark switching to follow system 4. Ability to add additional search engines 5. Option to edit bottom tool bar.

Also, the app is very smooth and fast when it is initially installed, but, over time it tends to slow down—deleting cache, etc., doesn’t seem to help.

Lunascape is Back!!

Several years ago, I was a big fan of Lunascape. I stopped using It after updates that were less than optimal. Came back to it in its latest iteration and am once again very impressed. Bravo 👏🏻!

Way better than other mobile browsers

Responsive website have not been done well, despite devs and companies having every chance to fix that this past decade. I found Lunascape because I NEEDED to have the full desktop functionality from websites that I was working with and none of the other browsers could do that. User agent switching and lunascape's native functionality have been what brought me and kept me. Even now, this morning, I went to login to some of my devices and they wouldn't show up in the UI presented in safari but worked perfectly in Lunascape.

I'm happy to come back again and again. Thank you!

Used to block YouTube ads

Doesn’t block YouTube ads from 01/05/24 this was the main reason to use.

Fixed Bookmarks!

You fixed the popup bookmark window, so I am bringing you back to 4 stars again. I still don’t see a way to change it to full screen in the app, but the popup is working fine now(remembering your place, and not scrolling back to the beginning) so no complaints anymore.

Bookmark Setting?

Where is the setting that allows Bookmarks to be full screen?

My biggest gripe about the update with the pop-up is that if you have a lot of bookmarks in one folder every time you use it it brings back to the top of the folder again, and scrolling through the folder seems buggy.

Would not be a big deal if you could select multiple bookmarks in the same way you can to delete them, but not to delete just to move to a smaller folder.

Useless now

New update ruined everything good about this app.
Used to be a great lightweight browser, now it’s getting deleted!

The update added unnecessary things and “fixed” about 5 things that were not broken.

Lunascape - What happened?

This was my favorite browser. Been using it for several years. Always came back to Lunascape after trying out other browsers. BUT, this total revamp is IMHO a total fail. Almost everything that made Lunascape a unique and compelling browser choice is gone. Revolving banner with unblocked ads on homepage is an eyesore. Tidy, orderly UI is gone. Scrolling tabs is, however, the only positive.

Lunascape - What happened?

Daaayuuummnnnn…..is this browser fast and not only dad, you can have an option to password protect it on the ios. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Suggestions

Allow the option to use regular Google rather than Lunascape search. Add an option to enable search suggestions.

Wish that adblocker worked

Every time I open up the app and watch YouTube I get ads but they are more common then on the actual YouTube app it seems, I have the adblocker enabled, it shows in the settings and on the browser but it doesn’t work, it used to have no ads at all but now it is starting to have them often.

Word to the wise...

As much as I enjoy this browser, it is very messy if you like to save a lot of images. No export feature except for the standard iOS share button while the image is open. No iTunes file sharing, just no way to get saved images out of the app and into someplace more permanent without repeating a long process of at least 10 taps per image (about 25 seconds each) once you count closing the tab and deleting the image. There is also no option to save from the web directly to your picture roll.

You might be thinking it makes more sense just to store them in the app forever, but you can't swipe between them or scroll through them; and once you have a few hundred of them, scrolling down the thumbnails not only crashes the app but in my case appears to restart the phone.

Other than that, and the adblock not working very well, I honestly love this browser and rarely use anything else. Just don't use it for anything you'll want to save!
