What's New in Lux Bible

1.11.0

October 24, 2026

• New highlight styles: outline boxes, dashed and double underlines, and transparent styles that show only an icon. Give any style one of 20 icons, and see a preview as you create or edit it. • Annotation markers now show their style's icon. When several annotations start at the same spot, they share one marker, and tapping it lists them all. • Annotations in Margin, under Layout in Theme & Layout, moves annotation markers out of the text into a column beside it. • Share or download any notebook, including Default, as a Lux notebook file with your notes. Import one by opening it with Lux or from the menu in Your Notebooks, as a new notebook or into an existing one, and preview what will be added first. • Creeds and confessions now appear in your app language when Lux has a translation: the Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort, and Apostles' Creed in Dutch, Ignatius' Creed and the rules of faith of Irenaeus and Tertullian in German, and the Nicene Creed and Chalcedonian Definition in Russian. • Manage Styles at the end of the Annotate sheet's style row opens your highlight styles. • Bibles are now listed by full name and publisher, with the abbreviation in front.

Efficient and Gets Better

This app is so much easier for concentrating on studying the Bible than other Bible apps I’ve used. Some are too busy and packed with social type distractions. Others are too simple, without the ability to study across different versions or take usable notes. So happy to have this app!

A great Bible app

This Bible app is a great combination of simplicity and depth. It is easy to use and has a lot of valuable tools, which allows me to dive into Scripture without being overwhelmed. Highly recommend using it!
