Most Expensive App

$3.99 a week? Really? Even when you subscribe, the first thing that pops up when you start the app is the subscription page. You will see this EVEN AFTER YOU’VE SUBSCRIBED!
The app itself does what it says. The free version is probably fine for most uses and frankly, the subscription version doesn’t give you any additional value in terms of features unless you need it for plants.
I am so tired of the frigging subscription screen popping up every time I open the all. There are other Kelvin degree apps you only need to pay for once and then use and then use forever. Don’t bother with this app that just wants to rook you.

Great for getting lighting color temperature

Would be better if you could select from either the front or rear camera.

Color temp not even close

I’m scanning the exact same area as my Sony A7IV (well lit stage in a sports arena). The Sony keeps reporting the color temp right around 5K, which seems about right given the bright white-ish lights they’re using in this venue. However this app keeps saying 10K, maybe 9K if I point it at an area just off the stage. Not even on the same planet here. Useless.

Best light measurement app I’ve found so far

Great app with a good recommendation tab for plant lighting. It’s simple but it’s nice to have there in general.

Bait-and-Switch!

The “in app purchase” means you pay without testing. Dishonest! If it’s a pay app just indicate it in the initial App Store screen.

Payment scam!

As soon as I downloaded the app and opened, I was presented with a payment screen. No free features for free to download app.

Can not try once

Tried the app once, and now it doesn’t work unless I pay. It would be nice to use it for a few days to evaluate if it fits my need.

App cannot wait to start charging user

Who can review with such pressure to purchase? If paid, say that up front!

Excellent app, needs tweaks

This app is excellent for measuring the temperature of light in Kelvin. The lux values are suspect as they differ from phone to phone and when compared to dedicated light meter.
One wish - the ability to use front facing camera.
