It’s a great app
I constantly use it to check against the built-in SLR camera meter in tricky lighting situations.
The incident light Luxi dome is great to set lighting ratios.
The spot function (no Luxi) and an 18% gray card is great for getting accurate exposures.
If you still use film cameras, it’s an inexpensive addition to your gadget bag.

Doesn’t work
Bought the meter on amazon. Downloaded the app. Totally confusing after sitting with it for over an hour. Why is this so difficult? No wonder it only has 3 reviews.
Love the idea but app is unusable
After purchasing the luxi, the app frequently “flips” to the view telling you to attach the already attached luxi every few seconds making it impossible to calibrate
Nice
A simple app with a huge impact. Now I don’t need a separate light meter- I can use my phone.
No update?!?
Useless right now. Don't waste film, find another meter.
For example: f/4 @ ISO 3,200 (indoors around sunset on a cloudy day)...returns a shutter speed of 1/1000th to 1/1600th of a second.
