In real time the app calculates the derived parameters and shows the pattern of the left ventricle geometry. The heart undergoes to structural alterations in the course of multiple phycological or - pathological conditions. The adaptation of the left ventricle to the physio-pathological conditions results in the change of both the overall mass and the relationship between the internal volume and the wall thickness of the ventricle. The internal volume and the wall thickness are two interdependent elements, and both determine the left ventricular mass. Furthermore, the geometry of the left ventricle is related to both the gender and the body surface area. Four different models of geometry of the left ventricle are defined on the basis of the balance between the ventricular mass and the wall thickness relative ratio to the internal dimensions. The four geometric patterns are: - Normal left ventricular geometry - Concentric remodeling - Concentric Hypertrophy - Eccentric hypertrophy
