The LVSI score application allows to predict the lymphovascular spaces involvement in endometrial cancer patients through preoperative parameters.
The preoperative lymphovascular spaces involvement prediction provides the surgeon with a useful tool to identify patients eligible for staging lymphadenectomy in case of sentinel lymph node technique failure.
The LVSI score has a 78.9% sensitivity (95% CI 0.6971 to 0.8594), and 94.4% negative predictive value (95% CI 0.916 to 0.964).
