Lyja tells you when to go outside — the best hour for your run, whether the dog walk at six stays dry, and how long the rain that's coming will last. BUILT AROUND WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO Pick the things whose timing the weather changes — running, cycling, hiking, gardening, dog walking, commuting, sailing, photography, kids outdoors — then set the days and hours you're free. Lyja scores every hour inside those windows only, so you never get a suggestion for a slot you're asleep or at work. Every activity has its own idea of good weather, and you can tune it: your coldest acceptable temperature, your wind limit, how much rain you'll put up with. Change them and the recommendations change with you. RAIN, WITH TIMING A rain timeline that says when it starts, roughly how long it lasts, and when it eases off. Alerts before rain begins where you are — and before a slot you planned turns wet. Rain countdowns live on the Lock Screen and in Dynamic Island, so you don't have to open anything. RADAR AND MOVEMENT Animated precipitation radar, and a card that reads which way the wet band is travelling and when it reaches you. Lyja labels this honestly: it's inferred from the forecast, not observed radar, and the app says so on the card's face. A HOME SCREEN THAT'S YOURS Now, hourly, seven days, rain timeline, radar, sun, wind, comfort, air quality, UV. Reorder the cards, turn off the ones you don't want — Lyja remembers where each one sits. WIDGETS Home Screen widgets for current conditions, the week ahead, and your next weather event, with the metrics you choose. HONEST ABOUT ITS SOURCES In Lithuania, Lyja reads the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service first, and falls back to global models elsewhere. A Data and sources screen names every provider behind what you're looking at, and the app never invents a reading it doesn't have — a value the source doesn't publish is marked, not guessed. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Location is asked for once, used only to fetch your forecast, and stored nowhere but your device. Lithuanian and English. Metric or imperial, your choice.
