Ruined My GunBox
Said there was an update to the GunBox firmware, updated and now both the Echo and 2.0 GunBox don’t function like they did previous to the update. All RFID tags, combinations, and fingerprints were deleted from both boxes. Now you have to push the shield before you can enter the combo or scan your fingerprints.
So far GunBox has been unable to help.

Ed, We should have been more clear what would happen when you update your GunBox. When you do a major update to a GunBox like you did, it removes all tags, combinations and fingerprints. This is expected behavior and we should have made sure you knew that would happen. With the latest box firmware you only have to press the shield to wake the box up if it's not plugged in. (this is a new feature). Having you wake the box up by pressing the shield when the box is not plugged in extended the battery life from a few months to a year and a half!! There are a lot of ins and outs to how the box works, I hope you'll send us a message at support@lynkd.com so we can help you get all your new features working like the internal LED light and tamper notifications.
