The M8 hardware experience everywhere you go!
My favorite tracker is on iOS now?‽‽ ! It works exactly like the hardware! And it’s able to access all of the mic arrays available on the phone!!! I have owned both versions of the M8 Tracker, and I love how portable it is. But now I can have it with me all the time! And it feels exactly like using the hardware, minus the clicky switches. Thank you for bringing the Dirtywave experience to iOS!

Digging it so far…
Would be great to have it be full screen compatible with external display on iPad, as well as the option to save and transfer directly iCloud when using multiple devices. Really digging it so far.
Outstanding!
What a welcome addition to the iOS music making scene!
Nice move
M8 iOS is identical to the handheld and is honestly an amazing way to use m8. Other than physical buttons, this version is 1 to 1. And you can get a game controller if you feel the need! There are plenty AUV3 hosts to use with it that extend its abilities into amazing territory! Jump on this! It works great as a MIDI target too! I use it with my hardware sequencers as well as the internal tracker sequencer for great results from proper limits that force creative use.

The GOAT
This is the greatest mobile music software of all time.
I already had the hardware, but the workflow of having it in my pocket on my phone to open at any moment, within seconds, is magically.

Most powerful tracker for iOS
There are a good number of trackers which have been around for a while but M8 comes out the gate ready to go due to all the development done for the original M8 hardware // I do wish there were quick memory snapshots to save where you are without breaking the flow in case you want to to undo a few levels. This is one of the main issues with creating longer or more complex tracks for me.

Amazing
Love this app I am now considering the hardware it’s that’s good a steal at £30
Best hardware tracker now in app form
The smoothest, most fully realised handheld hardware tracker on the market gets a slick app makeover! The M8 is a rich, deep music production tool with a focus on creating entire tracks, not just loops. Plus it just SOUNDS good. I love my hardware M8 so buying the app is a no-brainer. With the ability to AirDrop samples, bundles, rendered tracks and more, along with AUv3 & IAA support and easy integration with iOS music making tools, my favourite production environment just got so much better.

Better than expected
When it comes to trying out m8 I think this beats headless as it is even cheaper.
I think the haptic feedback and over all touch implementation is fantastic and really is speedier and one would think.
Absolutely game changer having m8 with me all the time I don’t wanna take my model 01 outside. Highly recommended!

So good
I’ve wanted a m8 for years, and to see an official app on iPhone arrive is one of the greatest gifts of this decade. It’s so usable, fun, and easy to grasp once you get the hang of the interface, and push past the learning curve. I’ve been using trackers for years and at one point wished Renoise would come to iOS. But this is even better as the ui/ux perfectly translates to the touchscreen. I love modular synthesizers and m8 really has an almost modular approach to creating voices. Each instrument engine type brings immense joy. It’s nice to have a really good FM synth on iOS when I’m away from Ableton Live and operator or pivot VST. M8 also has the best version of Braids on iOS, it’s so easily patchable and having 4 modulation options along with table fx and phrase fx really opens up the doors to creative patching. Sampling is fun and effortless. There’s some solid filters. EQ for all channels, delay, reverb with shimmer, chorus/flange/phase/comb filter, and the best part: waveshaping per device via the amplitude parameter on every instrument where you’ll get wave folding by sine, wave wrapping, clipping, soft clip post filter with analog distortion saturation, and more. It’s one of the best pieces of music production software you can treat yourself to.

Звуковые движки мощные. Интересная тема
Feels like an instrument
Feels tactile like an actual instrument. The haptics and the immediacy of the controls feel dawless
Probably the best app since AUM on IOS
Love the M8 app!!! u should buy it. if you are not sure find me on youtube and ask questions or see the vids “michael nervOus” the community is amazing, discord, ipad musician and hardware videos and groups work to help you understand the app as well as hardware or headless versions. you do NOT NEED TO KNOW how to use trackers to grasp this. just button presses and muscle memory.

Glorious
This and a launchpad pro is the do everything setup I've been waiting for my whole life of DAWLess.
Amazing
DirtyWave is one of the best instrument manufacturers of all time. Bringing the M8 to the iPhone and iPad is a bold move and further highlights the development and quality of DirtyWave’s development. This is amazing, and I’m so glad that they did this. I’ve wanted to get an M8 Tracker for a while now, and this is the perfect way to learn the M8 before deciding if you need the physical device. Regardless, I am now a DirtyWave supporter for life.

Best music making
I own the M8 hardware and I have to admit I now almost only use the iOS version. It is incredible. An unexpectedly awesome thing about it is that I can use my AirPods and even though normally those don’t work well for music making with the mate because it’s also kind of asynchronous the AirPods don’t really bother me with the delay that they normally have.
just one of the best music making apps you can possibly get. It is worth every penny

Fantastic tracker!!
This app is superior to the headless setup I’ve been running. It works perfectly with my Xbox controller and Bluetooth headphones. Thank you so much for making the M8 software available to more people!!
GOAT Tracker
Incroyable.
