Personal agents today borrow human messaging apps like Telegram or Discord. But those apps were designed for people talking to people, so an agent's real work — tool calls, file edits, approvals, progress — gets flattened into a wall of text. Macchiato is different: every part of the interface is designed around the way an agent actually works.
