Macchiato is a chat app built from the ground up for talking to your AI agent — not to other people. Personal agents today borrow human messaging apps like Telegram or Discord. But those apps were designed for people talking to people, so an agent's real work — tool calls, file edits, approvals, progress — gets flattened into a wall of text. Macchiato is different: every part of the interface is designed around the way an agent actually works. PAIR YOUR OWN AGENT Scan a QR code to securely link the agent running on your own machine. Macchiato is the front end; your agent stays where you run it. Add more than one and switch between them in a tap. Note: Macchiato is the client for an AI agent that you run yourself (for example, a Hermes agent on your own machine).
