Macow

Macow is a parental control and educational app designed to help parents manage screen time while encouraging meaningful learning. Instead of relying only on restrictions, Macow allows children to earn bonus screen time by completing educational challenges. HOW IT WORKS Children complete age-appropriate activities in mathematics, Hebrew language, logic, and introductory coding. Completing missions can earn fruit rewards that children can exchange for additional screen time. FEATURES FOR PARENTS Screen Time Management Set daily screen-time limits and downtime schedules for a linked child device. App Management Choose the apps and app categories Macow should manage using Apple’s Screen Time capabilities. Instant Lock Temporarily restrict managed apps from the parent dashboard when needed. Location Updates View available child-device location updates on the family map when location permission is enabled and Macow is active on the child device. Learning Progress View completed missions, learning activity, skill progress, and daily streaks. CHILD EXPERIENCE Educational Missions Practice mathematics, Hebrew language, logic, and introductory coding through interactive activities. Earn Bonus Screen Time Complete learning missions, collect fruit rewards, and exchange eligible rewards for additional screen time. Progress and Motivation Follow a personalized learning journey, improve skills, and maintain learning streaks. APPLE SCREEN TIME AND PERMISSIONS Macow uses Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity technologies to provide screen-time management and app restrictions. A parent or legal guardian must complete device pairing and approve the required Screen Time permissions. Feature availability depends on the device, iOS version, Apple Family configuration, Screen Time authorization, internet connectivity, and permissions selected by the family. Location information is collected only when location permission is granted and is used to provide the family location feature. Macow does not use child location for advertising. SUBSCRIPTION Access to Macow’s parent dashboard and protection features requires an active subscription. Available plans, trial eligibility, localized pricing, subscription duration, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple Account subscription settings before the end of the current subscription or trial period.
