About

Turn any Japanese vocabulary list into your own typing quiz. Photograph a page of your textbook, a handout from your teacher, or your own notes. The AI reads the Japanese words, their readings and their meanings, and builds a quiz from exactly the words you need — not somebody else's list. ■ Snap a photo, get a quiz No typing lists in by hand. Manual entry and paste work too. Photo scanning has a monthly free allowance. When you reach it, manual entry, quizzes, flashcards and audio all keep working, free, exactly as before. ■ Type your answers in romaji No Japanese keyboard needed. Type "inu" for 犬. Hepburn and Kunrei spellings are both accepted (shi/si, tsu/tu...), and words with more than one reading are handled: 月 accepts both "tsuki" and "getsu". ■ Words you miss come back A word you get wrong returns until you answer it correctly twice in a row. Quizzes run in parts of 10 words, so you always finish something — clear a part and earn a star. ■ Natural Japanese audio Every answer is read aloud in a natural native voice, so the sound and the spelling are learned together. ■ Also included - Flashcard mode for quick review - Daily streak, and a running count of words mastered - Export your word lists to back them up or share them - Works for JLPT N5 to N1, any textbook, any level - No account. No ads. No tracking. Photos are never stored on our server. Made in Osaka, Japan. This is the Japanese-learning edition of MACS Eitango — an app its developer originally built for his daughter's weekly vocabulary tests.
