Wrong scoring
Last night when we scored our game we had every room except a downstairs room. The app still gave 4 points for sleeping rooms instead of the correct 1 point.
Scoring castles backwards?
Really cool concept, but when we played tonight (with expansion) and we tried this out it seemed to show the scores on the screen counter-clockwise, but the app instructed me to score them clockwise. It lead to a big argument about if the app actually works and much recounting of points. Some first time players said they wouldn’t be interested in trying the game again, app or no app. Perhaps let players add names to the castles or something so that it’s easier to tell for sure who’s castle is which whether the app displays the scores in the proper order or not. Really wanted to love this app, but I’m not sure my group will let me try the app again, let alone the game :(

This makes the game so great!!! The hardest part of the game is the scoring. It can be timely. This makes the game easier to get to the table.
Great but ran into expansion issues
I’ve only used the app once with the new expansion; t seems the app says you should scan castles clockwise but when scanning it seemed like it actually puts them in counterclockwise positions… I ran into issues getting the tiles to scan, and some of the new expansion tiles make scoring trickier in general (the ones related to neighboring castles, especially). Scoring using the app was a bumpier experience than it used to be, and I can’t tell if it’s user error or bugs with the app. I’ll update my review once I’ve gotten the game to the table again.

Works as advertised
It will save us a lot of time for the scoring at the end of the game.
Works better than manual
We used the app today and it worked brilliantly! We played John Henry vs the machine, and our manual score keeping failed three out of four times, but the app? Perfect! Found things we missed. Beautiful! And the app was much faster!
I never like to buy apps but this was worth it
It counts you castle so quickly and easily. I used to enjoy doing it by hand but this is perfectly accurate and when comparing I found we sometimes miscounted. I have had a small amount of trouble getting all the rooms to be recognized but adjusting the angle of the camera usually makes it work in a few more seconds which is still faster than adding oneself. I like the display and seeing how much each room is worth and it is so easy to use. The only thing I wish it did is save the images of the castles so that I could look back at my favorite ones. Since it already gets the picture I imagine it would be able to do it. You can’t even review old castles. Once it scores then it only has the total. Being able to look back at them would be nice.

Hi! The feature you want already exists :) After you score the castle there are two buttons at the very bottom of the "Castle Score" screen. One is a little envelope and another is a square with an arrow. Both of the buttons will create images of your castle you can store for looking back on. I find it easiest to tap the email button and send an email to myself with the images. But you can tap the other one and use any of the sharing methods available to you (such as saving to a photo album).
Scoring is so much better!
Thank you for making this app! We love this game, but scoring has always been tedious. Not anymore! This game will hit the table a lot more now because of this app.

Makes scoring much easier
First time I played BTCOMKL when it came time to scoring it took a couple minutes per castle so scoring took as long as multiple turns in the game. Saw this app and gave it a try and it reduced the time to a few seconds per castle. Works amazingly

Makes Scoring So Easy!
