Mado puts a shield on distracting apps. When you open one, you see two buttons: • "Close app" - go back to your life • "Enter · 15 min" - you get 15 minutes, then the shield comes back That's it. No motivational quotes. No guilt trips. Just a speed bump between you and the algorithm. HOW SESSIONS WORK You pick a focus mode: • Shizuku 滴 (Droplet) - 3 sessions per app/day. Easy mode. • Nagare 流 (Flow) - 2 sessions per app/day. The sweet spot. • Izumi 泉 (Spring) - 1 session per app/day. For when you mean it. Each session = 15 min. Every app has its own count. When you use them up, that app is locked until midnight. No exceptions, no "just 5 more minutes." WHAT YOU GET • Stats: pauses declined, sessions used, time saved • Daily streak tracking • 7 achievements with Japanese kanji - from first pause (一) to mastery (道) • Home Screen widget with time saved and streak PRIVATE Everything stays on your device. Uses Apple's Screen Time API locally. No account, no servers. WHY "MADO"? Mado (窓) means "window" in Japanese. The design borrows from washi paper and sumi ink - calm, minimal, zero notifications screaming at you. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS Mado offers a subscription with a free trial. Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
