Good idea, but full of problems
This app does much of what I need it to do, but not easily or particularly well. There are many glitches (it forgets basic settings randomly, and sometimes it freezes for many seconds at a time). The guitar sounds are useless. There are too few options for how to structure a practice session. Mostly I dislike the gamification. Why does everything have to be a dumb game? I’m not trying to earn points; I’m trying to improve as a musician. It’s super distracting that points build up and go to zero if you make a mistake. Just keep a running tab of correct answer percentages—this is what’s useful to someone who’s trying to improve.

Perfect for ear training

Needs serious work
I'm trying to like this app. There are a few problems. First, it gradually slows and then hangs up entirely. I'm using it on a Mac Studio workstation ... there's no need for a simple app like this to need more resources. It should be intantaneous. Second, there's no design attenton to the exercises. They just go on infinitely, and reset to zero when you get something wrong. This is just careless and unimaginative. Third, the acoustic guitar sound (the one that's included in the free version) is muddy sounding. It's unconvicing, and hard to hear ... whcih defeats the purpose.
