About

Run a game of Mafia without cards, notes, or a narrator who has to remember everything. Mafia Guard is the moderator's screen. It hands out secret roles, walks you through each night and vote, and works out who is eliminated - so you can keep the table talking. SECRET ROLE REVEAL - Pass the phone around the circle; each player sees only their own role - Tap to reveal, tap to hide before handing it on - Mafia, Doctor, Detective and Villager GUIDED NIGHT PHASE - Step through the Mafia's target, the Doctor's save and the Detective's investigation in order - Saves and eliminations are worked out for you - Investigation results are shown to the moderator only SIMPLE VOTING - Record one vote per living player - Ties are detected automatically and nobody goes out - The eliminated player's role is revealed to the table THE APP CALLS THE WINNER - Checked after every night and every vote - Villagers win when the last Mafia is gone; Mafia win once they match the rest of the town - A full summary shows every role and how the game unfolded BUILT FOR GAME NIGHT - Four players or more - Role counts are checked before you start, so you never begin a game that cannot be won - Put the phone down and pick the game back up where you left it - A timeline of every night and every vote - Connect to a TV or projector for a shared scoreboard EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE - No account and no sign-in - Works completely offline - No analytics, no tracking, no data collected

What's New in Mafia Guard by VLVD Works

1.2.0

September 29, 2026

Play your way — paper chits or phone • New: Deal roles with paper chits. Write the roles, let everyone draw, then record who got what in a few taps. The app checks your counts and skips the pass-the-phone reveal. • Recent players: names from your past games appear as one-tap chips when adding players. Faster, fairer voting • A new tally board: tap a player's name once per vote instead of recording every voter. • Ties go to one revote between the tied players, and every result asks for confirmation before anyone is out. • Choose "One vote each" or "Hands per name" to match how your group votes. • The TV shows the live vote count as you tap. Run the day with a timer • Start a discussion timer from the dashboard (3 minutes by default, adjustable). It shows on the TV and alerts you when time is up. Smoother setup • No more naming games: each game is labeled with its date and time, and setup starts straight at Add Players. • Role counts are pre-filled for your group size, and you can adjust any of them. • During role reveal, the button shows who's next ("Next: Bob"). Other improvements • The Detective is now the Cop. • The Eliminated list shows players in the order they were eliminated. • Tap any game in History to see its full timeline. • The TV no longer shows eliminated players' roles until the game is over.
