Classical music without the Ads.
I really love the option to be able to pay for a premium account to be able to avoid the adverts. I listen to classical music many hours of the day and night and especially in the evening when it’s relaxing music, an advert can really ruin the moment. It works out at £1 a week. I love classical music for my anxiety and mental health and really enjoy just pressing play and guaranteed no adverts. Really great app too. X Dan

Saturday evening screen time
Disappointed when there are no HUMAN DJ’s very little time is given to the music title or artist / composer just Magic corporation blurb so much so I tune to another station in order to know what I am listening too

Clare teal,s big band and swing
Great to see Clare teal is back on air via Scala link-her Big Band programmes on BBC2 Sunday nights were VERY popular up to a few years ago.
Doesn’t show premium membership
I pay for ad-free, nothing on the app seems to show this
Good but…
The apps useful but I just want to know what I’m listening to and hear it. Half a screen of stuff about premium no help. Not such a fan of Scala / magic classical anymore, people change and it looks like I have.
I hate the new name.

Fed up with having to log in
I’m getting really annoyed at having to log in when I want to listen to Scala. Surely if I’ve logged in once that should be enough! You’re driving me towards Classic FM
app is Dangerous
A lovely app but it has an annoying, persistent ad come up before it starts playing. The ad has to be cancelled before the music is delivered and this makes it a very dangerous app when used in the car, including its use via CarPlay; you are compelled to cancel the ad by clicking a small x, which means stopping the vehicle.

Giving up on Scala
Unfortunately this is more trouble than it it worth. App is very buggy and keeps kicking me out. Also I don’t like the station so much now most presenters have been removed. Cancelling Premium.
Scala premium
There is no way I can reconnect Scala radio premium to my Bose smart speaker it was working fine until yesterday what have you done? It will only connect basic scala
Competition
I absolutely love Scala but since they started upselling the £250k competition, sounds like most other stations with the painful repetitive competition advertising.

You have to sign in every time you want to listen!!!!! Then the log in page is very small print and red text on black is very difficult to read

No longer works on iPod touch
I can no longer access the station since the last update. They say they are fixing it, but don’t know when they will resolve the issue. It’s been nearly two weeks. I’m missing it terribly, even though my main reason for listening ( Luci Holland’s show, the first of it’s kind on radio), has been recently cut, like other fan favourites Scala shows. I think i’m back off to Classic FM or a new adventure in Radio.

I love Scala Radio, and Scala Radio Premium makes it even better
I've been listening to Scala Radio since it launched, its the station that's in between Classic FM and Radio 3 I've wanted for years. Scala Radio Premium takes Scala Radio to another level. You get no ad breaks, and extra radio stations to listen too including in the park, piano works and classical bangers.

This app is ruined by the desperate measures by Bauer Media to get us poor listeners to sign up for premium. When I am listening on the radio and then go and use the app to try and identify a tune I want to download, I find everything which has already been played on that programme has been listed as Premium and cannot get the info I want without committing to a free trial. Musicians lose out on a sale and I miss out on songs or tunes I would have liked to listen to often at my leisure.
