Issue with Magic Dice on GarageBand iOS After iOS 18.5 Update – Low Volume Bug

I’m reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered with the Magic Dice plugin on GarageBand iOS (iPhone 14 Pro Max), running the latest iOS 18.5 update.
Since updating to iOS 18.5, Magic Dice appears to load within GarageBand, but the processed audio is significantly lower in volume than before—despite no changes to track automation or gain settings. When I solo the vocal track, I can hear the effect, but it sounds far quieter than it did in previous sessions where Magic Dice was used as part of the mix. This has impacted the overall vocal presence and balance in my project.
It seems the plugin may not be applying gain consistently on reloading a project, or the wet/dry mix isn’t being preserved or triggered properly when the session is reopened. I’ve tested re-tapping the dice to randomize settings, but volume remains low across different variations.
Can you confirm if this is a known compatibility issue with iOS 18.5 and GarageBand iOS? Are there any workarounds or updates planned to restore normal plugin behavior?

Pathetic
Intentionally butchered their own app so people will pay for one of their other reverbs. Instead we are going to just buy from other companies.
I will never get anything from this company again and I will do my best to spread the word so others don’t either. It’s been over a year and the problem has had no fix or even a single comment or apology from babyaudio.
I used this plugin for everything and now it’s absolutely useless.
As the title states this is utterly pathetic. One of the most beloved reverbs made useless because they are mad that it was free and people prefer it to some of their other reverbs that are are costly.

In need of repair
Once was a great plugin … now if you load it up the volume goes super loud and doesn’t sound nice. I know it’s “free” but I feel it could use a little TLC. Please get this thing back on track. Thanks !!
Great until it broke!
It was on everything, and got me to buy other ba products. It broke hard a year ago, still broken, not buying more ba until its fixed :(
Incredible App
As an experimental ambient musician, this simple app is perfect. Roll the dice and see what you get, there are an incredible array of sounds that can be made at the drop of a hat. And it’s free. I do hope the main app comes online for iOS music makers soon. Thanks for the wonderful app.
Wet dry controls don’t work
Sounds full wet (or very close to it) since a recent update. Are you guys trying to tank this so we will buy the the main plugin?!
It was fun while it lasted…
When I first locked eyes with Magic Dice, I knew she was the one. Love at first sight; the quality she added to my GarageBand beats rivaled that of my FL beats.
It was a wonderful life we had together,
but nothing good lasts forever.
I don’t even know who she is anymore. Now when I add her to my beats, no matter what the mix level is, she overpowers the beat and destroys the sound. Idk where I went wrong, if it was something that I said, but there’s no love lost on my side. I still want her back in my life like a toxic ex riding on a boomerang.
I hope this is just a phase, and I know the times we had meant something to her too. I beg, please fix her…💔

Mix fader not working
Hi nice app. But almost useless as I the mix slider does not control the OTT levels the effect comes on with same with Magic Switch. I’ve reinstalled and still the same result. using a current iPad Air 5th gen. Any advice? Many thanks for the products for sure.

Everytime I use the app, it makes the sounds go over the top and it damages. It’s glitching out everytime

It used to be my favorite plugin, worked so well but now it sends crazy loud signal to my channel and reverb doesn’t work no more. Please fix, I love this plug in

Something went wrong with the Magic Dice
I was trying to fix the Magic Dice and nothing work. I try every and delete and redownload again and again and nothing work. I hope you fix this glitch.

Was great until it stopped working
I’ve used this plug-in on plenty of songs and they were all great. I did like the ability to change the mix level on the bottom of the plug-in but as of late whenever I use the plug-in inside of GarageBand, it’s not letting me change the mix level it’s like if it’s stuck on full mix. The glitch is happening on a fully updated iPhone 11 while using the plug-in inside of a fully updated GarageBand. Please fix for 5 stars.

Very Very Creative Effect!
The first effect I’ve ever used that inspires like a synth patch or instrument might. I turn this on before any sound generator and it guides my initial production. And free, TY guys!
