I feel scammed
I paid the .99¢ one time fee for unlocking locations and future dates. However when I go to add a location, it crashes each time. .99¢ is nothing, but it feels as if I was scammed where I paid a price and it doesn’t work.
Used most days
Ok such a simple good app. I use it as a widget and always know when it’s coming. Great for photo planning or just enjoying beautiful light.
Need to know!
I love this app because I need to know 30 minutes before the sunsets for my work. Thank you Magic Hour!
Not easy to delete
I’m sure it’s interesting to some, but my weather app tells me sunrise and sunset times. I don’t need all the extra. Currently, having difficulty canceling the app. Not in subscriptions on my phone, so extra hoops to jump.
A great app for taking photographs.

Wonderful App
Simple, clean, and informative. Just beautiful. I use it frequently especially when journaling in the early morning. I’m not a photographer but still love this elegant app.
Notifications don’t work
Notifications originally world but haven’t worked in months.
Opened once and kept crashing…
Open once in fresh install, and then just crashing constantly, instant crash clicking the icon, reinstall didn’t resolve the problem.

I love using this app. I love it love it love it love it love it. It pops up on my iPhone. Gives me plenty of time for my drone up in the sky and get a full moon shot. Amazing. Just hoping the Lord sends me an upgraded DJI drone a Mavic three with a full tiltable camera because my older Mavic two does not have a low light capability, but other than that, the app is fantastic love it reach out to me if you would like me to give him more formal review will do something else. Reliable and consistent
Magic Hour has works very well indeed over many years, eventually I paid the small price to be able to pin locations, and very useful feature which comes in wry handy indeed. Highly recommended.
Can’t live without
This is crucial information that I cannot live without. I need to know when I can find the best light. I need to know the next full Moon. The Moon should always be capitalized, it is a proper noun.
Great overview of the entire Magic Hour…
I have utilized this app. for years. It is fantastic in every way. All the info. you need to plan, *especially for photographers. I use it a whole lot. All of the necessary info. with great graphics. Well-done, highly recommended if you’re seeking this type of information, or you need it.
Got it for vacation, but it is changing my days
I downloaded this app to alert me when sunset was coming while I was on vacation, so my friends and I could make a fire and be there for sunset. But now that vacation is over, I find I welcome the little ping that reminds me to shift my mindset to one of observation and enjoyment. That’s a pretty high achievement for an app! Five stars.
Two small suggestions to the developers: a moonrise notification would be welcome anytime the moon might be visible. I’d also like a notification as an option for when Magic Hour ends.

Time way off
Keeps starting magic hour at 1030 pm for Cupertino, Ca. It’s dark by 8….
No instructions, can’t change location
Can’t figure out how it works. I can add a location but cannot access it. When I try to choose a future date, I get the message “calendar events not available please create a new location for calendar events.” Although I do, nothing happens.
The only app I have installed on every phone I’ve owned
