Perfect app for our 6 year old!
My husband and I are pediatric RN’s and we’re really struggling how to explain breast cancer to our 6 year old daughter!
This app was perfect! Since my diagnosis, she hasn’t wanted to talk about it at all. So tonight I told her I had a fun game to play with her. During the 1st video she cuddled up beside me and had a great time playing the games and watching the videos. When the video would say “do you wanna learn more about...” she’d shake her head and ask to go to that place next! She had a lot of questions for me. This video even explained cancer cell growth in an age appropriate way! It acknowledged that sometimes she may not want to talk about it, the importance of not brining home germs, and how you can’t catch cancer! It explained a biopsy and she was amazed I did it already and that I didn’t cry! I’d recommend this app to any child who loves someone with cancer! Oh, and the games are super fun too!
