What's New in MagicDay

2.5.1

August 8, 2026

Fixes and refinements across trip planning. • Park time, everywhere. If you plan from home, dining reservations, Lightning Lane windows and park hours now all read in the park's local time. Evening restaurant times are selectable again. • Your plans stay on the right day. Days planned before you travel are no longer filed against the wrong date. • "Reorder My Day" no longer un-ticks rides you've marked as done, or clears bookings you've saved. • Plan ahead properly. Upcoming park days no longer show every ride as closed — you'll see estimates instead, and can re-optimise on the day for live waits. • Tell us about a Lightning Lane you've already booked and we'll build the rest of the day around it, never scheduling a ride that would make you late for your return window. • Plan My Day now suggests rides only, skips anything closed, and explains why it picked what it did. • Dining and Lightning Lane alerts can be set up during your trip, not just before it.

User reviews

Easy to use

I like this app because of its user friendly features. It’s kind of like putting all your planning from a spreadsheet into an app. It helps plan your trip and even will optimize your plan for you. I also appreciate the dining alert feature. Keeps me from having to use a separate site and pay another fee.

An essential part of our Disney trip!

We used MagicDay on recent trips to both Paris and Orlando. It was helpful to plan our days in advance (particularly in Orlando) and put our kids details in to see what rides they could and couldn’t do.

The tips on where to stand for the fireworks and quiet zones were amazing for our neurodivergent child as well.

We got a years pass, but with going back twice in 2027 I’m thinking about going for the lifetime!
