About
Brick Verdict answers one question: is this LEGO a good deal at this price?
You're at a charity shop, a car boot, a Facebook Marketplace meetup. You have thirty seconds to decide. Brick Verdict scans a LEGO box (or photographs a loose minifig), takes the asking price, and tells you:
Good deal — below market
Fair price — in line with market
Overpriced — above market
Three verdicts. One decision. No more thumbing through eBay sold listings while a queue forms behind you.
WHERE THE PRICES COME FROM
Every verdict is blended from public market data:
• BrickLink Price Guide — six-month worldwide sales averages
• eBay UK active listings — what people are asking right now
• eBay UK sold listings (where available) — what people actually paid in the last 90 days
We show you our working. Every verdict comes with a receipt: which sources contributed, sample sizes, confidence level. When the data is thin, we say so. No black box.
WHAT IT IS
• Camera-first — open the app and start scanning, no menus
• Conditions matter — Sealed, Open Complete, or Open Incomplete; the verdict adjusts
• Honest receipts — see the data sources, not just a verdict
• British pounds, UK marketplace, UK comparables
WHAT IT ISN'T
• Not a collection tracker
• Not a portfolio or investment app
• Not authentication (we can't tell from a barcode if a set is genuine)
• No accounts, no logins, no sign-ups
• No tracking analytics
PRO
The free tier gives you three verdicts per day — enough to evaluate the app properly.
Pro Lifetime (£14.99 once) or Pro Annual (£4.99/year) unlocks:
• Unlimited scans
• Full sold-listings receipt
• Searchable scan history
PRIVACY
Your scans stay on your phone. There are no accounts. The server only sees anonymous set lookups. We don't read your location, your contacts, or anything that could identify you.
