Please update app and widget
The app widget was removed with ios18 and I would love to get that back.

Tried this 5 times in a row
I install two lights and everything it great
Then when I install the third light the app removes everything on screen except the control for the third light
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times going through the setup process and nothing changed

Extremely buggy
Never ending bugs, badly programmed. Cant even use one of my lights half the time because app decides entirely at random whether to let it work or not.

Was good, now glitches and no updates
I have used this app for several years with success. Updates stopped and the app is dying.

Good functionality but can be made better!
I appreciate many features of this app but there are a few limitations. The integration with IFTTT is seriously appreciated but can be improved by allowing the user to access and set their pre-saved custom dynamic modes from IFTTT and not just the functions that come with the app. Also I’d like to see a fade-on through a given time interval feature as I use these for waking up in the morning to ease into daylight during the winter months. There aren’t enough allowable schedule slots (6 is the max, adding more can also be an improvement) to discretize the “fade” so being able to prescribe a 0%-20% fade through say a 45 min interval would be ideal and likely easy to incorporate. All in I’d say this is a very good app but can be made much more functional

❌ Magiclight and Ifttt ❌
If any one reads these reviews at magiclight, can you add “scenes” to IFTTT integrations.
This would allow you to be much more flexible in using your range of lights and modules ✅ with out it we are stuck with generic and restrictive looks. Which does not work. Need to be able to call a custom colour or look from IFTTT.
Please add senes to IFTTT. 🚨

Terrible App
The app for these bulbs is absolutely terrible. Almost every week I have to reinstall all of the bulbs in my house (10 of them!) because they disconnect and never reconnect. Jesus, get some college kids to create one that works cause the guy you hired is terrible.

really terrible app and poorly made. won’t let me connect to my led lights after four hours and nothing on the app to try and help me out
Won’t Sync No Support
What a waste of money, time and effort! Bought 2. Neither lasted longer than a week. Stopped syncing. Multiple efforts to get support went unanswered. Would not recommend. What a rip off!
* BETTER THAN PHILLIPS BULS *
I find this app and the lightbulb to be WAY more responsive and quicker overall when changing the color than the widely popular Phillips bulbs. if you are like me, and obsessed with finding the BEST product out there when you find something you like, look no further. I've done extensive testing of both. This app & bulb are better overall in responsiveness and reliability when changing the light/color.

You can’t see the time page to update times changes!!
Functions can’t dim?
When I use the functions (like 7 color cross fade) I cant adjust the brightness. If I do it just goes to red and stays there. Very annoying.

Great lights, great app. Wasn’t expecting to get as many features, pretty cool that you can get the lights to sync to the microphone.
Glitchy
Initial set up is not done how described on box or within app. I figured out how to do it by Messi g with the app. Took about 5 minutes before I figured out. The music sync is not working nor the mic setting. Would appreciate some guidance and would up the rating to 4. The lights themselves are not as bright as the cree leds I replaced. Definitely more mood lighting even on the brightest “normal “ light settings. Cool idea , execution not quite seamless.

Perfect as of today 3-12-19
I’ve had MagicLight WiFi bulbs for over two years now and have rarely had any issues. The only time I have had some problems is after power outages but I’m able to straighten those problems out quickly. I originally bought these bulbs because Phillips hue lights were more then I could afford. Since I bought these bulbs I’ve always wanted a lock screen widget to control the lights. Eventually Alexa was compatible which I liked and use every day. Today the app update not only gives widget access to turn lights on/off but they can be controlled by Siri as well. I can’t praise this company enough there as good as it gets in my opinion. Like I said I’ve had two MagicLight WiFi bulbs for over two years now and there still going strong. Well worth the $35 a piece I paid for the WiFi color bulbs. Thanks for a great product at a fair price.

Music sync isn’t working
The app doesn’t even show you how to set up music sync nor does it show a setting to turn it on.

Great light overall, color changed randomly
Whenever I used to tell google assistant to change the light to white, it would be a warm white which I like. Now all of a sudden, it changes it to a colder blue-ish white if I ask google assistant. Not sure what changed or if there is a way for me to define what “white” I prefer.
Impressive Features
A lot of nice features! Especially for such an affordable smart light. Even invites the ability to sync with audio, and an auto-change color feature based on the color of the object the camera lens is capturing.
