Great Light, horrible app
There is absolutely no way to logon to the app in any of the ways listed on the app. Without being able to logon, cannot even link with the light in any way. Useless to be sure

Awful. Can’t log in using any option. This means functionality of light is severely limited. Will be asking for a refund

Why does this require a login to use?
Why does this app require an account to use? I’d rate this zero stars if I could. The app never got past the log in page and I can’t pair it to the light at all. Useless.
No good
Can’t even login using any of the options of Apple, FB, Google or even email. App appears dead, v disappointing as can’t set up new light using the app as advertised.

I can’t get passed the login screen, bad app.
Waste of time
After many attempts to pair with my iPhone I eventually succeeded only to find after 10 seconds of being paired the app froze. Now app cannot find my light. App removed and reinstalled but still no connection.
App is useless using the light complicated but light does work.

Issues connecting and annoying app
Initially adding the light to my phone was a piece of cake but after exiting the app and going back in again, it wouldn’t connect again even though it’s still listed.
In the end, I pressed the ad light button again and it detected the light and added it and it’s work fine since but it was a very annoying initial experience.
Another negative is when you initially open the app it auto connects to the light and turns the light on, but there’s no way to turn the light off. If the app allowed you to see whether the light was on or off, it would be great, but it doesn’t
So just by opening the app, I could flatten the battery on the torch and next time I go to use it have a flat battery.
Another negative is that the app only shows low or high I would much prefer a percentage level and sometimes it even initially shows low when I open the app and then changes to high after a few minutes.

Won’t even let you sign in
Can’t even offer a review as the app won’t send a registration code via email when first using. This is a pretty critical function if you want to require user registration to manage the functions on a flashlight.

The app is useless… I created an account and it’s keeps disconnecting from my light. Then I try to turn on the light and it’s saying it’s locked out and when unlocked, it doesn’t turn on. Definitely returning the light and this app needs serious upgrades.
Doesn’t work
Let you link your light up and configure it but then next time you open the App it doesn’t see your light.
Nothing magic here
This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used. Bluetooth connectivity drops out after 30 seconds and app then asks you to re-connect ! Once custom modes are entered you have absolutely no way to go back to factory settings. I’ll be returning the light to the retailer. Very, very disappointed in this app.

Can't connect to the light
The app forces you to create an account (sic!) and then cannot pair with the light. Completely useless

Magic Shine please overhaul your app for connectivity issues and release a new update already. Great concept but some of the app is not English and hard to use.

This app is terrible, you connect you’re light and it’s forgotten every time, you want to use any settings and it says please connect you’re light, even though you just did, absolutely terrible app , doesn’t work, rendering the lights an expensive waste of money
So difficult to use
It would be nice if this app or the MagicShine light I purchased came with a user manual. I cannot figure out what the heck I’m doing with the app or what the buttons for the light do. In the app, it seems to let you create different profiles. However, I have no idea how to enable different profiles on the light. Tapping around the app makes my light do different things than when I press its buttons. I suspect this would not be any easier if I spoke Chinese.
The MagicShine light I received gets 4 stars for build quality and design, missing one star for the absence of a user manual. This app gets zero stars for being impossible to understand or use. This app may as well not exist.
