Great camera, Horrible app
Simply can't connect phone Wi-Fi to camera Wi-Fi, the app needs a desperate complete overhauled update really bad, owner/developer seems to not care, smh

1. Camera generates Wi-Fi signal called "Maginon AC777".
2. Device with app can connect to this network using password listed on the manual.
3. Once on the network, press "Add New Camera" button on App.
This should bring up an uncomplicated interface. It has a video or a single shot.

Manual needs to be updated with correct info
Purchased the Maginon action camera from Aldi. Downloaded the app.
App says connect to your Wifi
iPhone says you need a password. Owners manual for the action camera doesn’t have anything pertaining on how to connect to your app let alone mention of any kind of password. I even called Apple. Customer service is no help. But tech support will call you in 7-10 business days no help there after a month trying to figure this out Aldi is sending me my refund.

Works well, with a few kinks.
The app itself does what it is supposed to do, allows you to control the camera from your device. It has a 1-3 second delay depending on how far you are from the camera, but that is to be expected considering it’s over a WiFi connection. But the only thing that really bugs me is that you can’t change your settings for the WiFi stuff. But other than that it’s great 👍. Maginon.com will solve all your troubles with it! Go there if you don’t know what to do. Overall, it works.

Works for me
Followed the simple instructions in the manual and was able to record and download a full HD video with no issues.
Action camera good app TRASH
The camera it's self is good every thing works like it should until you get to the app which it completely horrible from freezing, loging out, closing in its self and much more it is good if you wish to spend a hour or more trying to simply get a picture and if you want a video it's simple not happening doesn't deserve 1 star
