Sound doesnt work, app locks up
App sometimes vibrates for metal. Sound has never worked. Frequent ads and frequent lockup, freezing before loading ad. When it does load, it usually wont indicate my keys an inch away.

Title says MAGNETometer but when it starts it says METAL DETECTOR
Does this mean all metal is magnetic? I needed an app to test electromagnetic interference and this app said 40 as I turned away from my PC, 50 on my keyboard, 0 when pressed against my monitor and nearly deafened me when I placed it on my rubber mouse pad.
When I saw it is a metal detector it made sense why my monitor’s glass had no electromagnetic signal and my rubber mousepad next to the table’s metal frame went so berserk.
I don’t need a metal detector. I need a magnetometer.

Opening Ad only works
After the Ad, when the app opens, it does not work saying “Ad will appear in 0……” accompanied by a darkened screen.

Unusable - Nothing but ads
I haven’t been able to use it even once. It comes up, ads pop up in seconds. Whether I let the ad play out completely or close it when it first pops up, what remains is a dark screen with the app barely visible, and I can’t manipulate the controls at all. Is there a fix for this? Paid version without ads? This one is useless as is!

Wow i love this
My phone has a built in wallet and it has a metal clip. So... i thought, wait, what would happen if i put this next to my phone? So i put it next to my phone, and could you guess what happened? The app froze. The magnetic field was at max, and the power was 6157. PLEASE HELP (hey devs please fix this i dont know if this is a bug, or if this little metal chip is Insanely powerful. Im just surprised that my phones screen isnt destroyed!)

Ads every few seconds
Great functionality; incessant advertisement pop-ups render it useless half the time I am using it.

Does absolutely nothing. Hold a magnet right on the sensor and no response at all.

The operation semi-works and has a nice GUI, but the pop-up ads cause the app to crash.
Upon start-up, you get “ad starts in Xx sec”. 50% of the time, the ad doesn’t start, the screen is grayed out and controls are locked. The app does however basically continue to detect. If you survive the boot-up ad, another ad pops up a short time later. If you ‘X’ out of that ad, the app will not return, necessitating a restart of the app (and dealing with the boot-up ad).
When the app did work, it appeared functional on metal items ran across the iPhone magnetometer, but I could not keep the app running long enough to test for wires/nails in a wall.
I was going to purchase the no-ads version, but I’m not certain the app won’t keep crashing.
With some developer debugging, the app would show promise.

Excellent for finding metal drywall screws.
first found the magnometer on ipad pro by moving a screw around the edge and seeing when the signal spikes.
then found two aluminum studs by finding and marking two drywall screws per stud at the spot where the magnometer is.
It worked better than my actual $30 stud finder!

I literally am either using this wrong or it’s so retarded because I placed my phone on my laptop and it did absolutely nothing
