App not working
Recently the articles, especially the art ones have been in such a small print on the iPhone that they are impossible to read Also the back button is not responsive. There seems no way to adjust the font even when pressing A+ noting happens. Something changed a while ago. Please fix.
Current Font Size Problem
Magnificat is wonderful. Currently, the font is so small and most text does not respond to in-app size-change buttons. If you turn it sideways, the text is the size it is supposed to be. Happy to send screenshots and provide device information as needed!
Love this app
I’ve used this book and app for several years. I love the pictures and the stories about them; the saints—many I’ve never read anything about; the daily mass readings; the daily meditation; credible witness; and, great conversion stories. Thank you. The one thing I would like to know is whether I could go back to the book page set-up in the on-line version. It’s just a little easier for me to read.

Disgruntled App User
I am a subscriber if the Magnificat and have been for several years. My subscription runs through October 2026. The App stopped allowing me access as of January 1, 2026. I can access my January online issue at the Magnificat website without a problem. So it is the App that is not working properly.
Really like this app
Great app with helpful and polite customer service. Very useful app to have daily Mass readings and a good portion of the Divine Office right at your fingertips on your phone. Grateful for the Magnificat team and all they do to foster love of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Edit 12/31/25 This has worked great until a week ago. Still waiting for tech support to get back to me. All of the instructions given so far, including the one listed here to go into settings, don’t fix the problem.

This app is great! The Magnificat is wonderful. Possibly the best daily prayer publication out there. I am happy they offer a reduced rate for digital only!! I can pray whenever I have a free minute!! Thank you!!

Not Working
Just subscribed but I continue to get a downloading error. I went to the settings to status of memory and it doesn’t download. The app is unusable.
Needs to be free
I can to this app when searching for a daily devotional. It is hard to pay online and honestly, I don’t think it’s worth it.
Site, app lack basic info
If there was another such magazine, I would drop Magnificat and subscribe to the other. How hard is it to include the customer’s subscription info on the site and the app, for that matter??? Every year is the same complaint. WHEN, exactly, does my subscription expire??? WHERE, exactly, can I find it without having to call Magnificat and speak to your customer service reps who always sound like they’re tired of dealing with customer care.

Software update problems. Unable to change font size. Sometimes very large or sometimes very small.
I deleted the app and shut down my iPhone 15 Pro Max to try to fix the problem, several times as a matter of fact.
After a full day, I downloaded the app just a while ago and it appears to be working as it should.
Very frustrating.

Zero Stars If That Were Possible
Don't bother downloading. This is clearly an unsupported app.
I'm a new subscriber who won't be recieving a print copy in the mail for a month and a half. The app won't work, does not load. The browser version is terrible on a phone/tablet--no responsive design.

App does not work
App is inconsistent and buggy. I can’t download the monthly issues without error messages. I deleted the app and reinstalled. No luck. I also went to the settings and tried to download the monthly issue with the memory setting without luck
Readings is not the same anymore
The readings are not as Jerusalem Bible Lectionary anymore 🤦🏻♀️
Mostly good
I have trouble with the type size in April. Seems corrected now. Called the main phone number and the person said it was an Apple issue. Not!
Favorite Missalette
Magnificat hits most all of my needs for daily prayer. Thoughtfully laid out, beautifully curated meditations, and art that leads us via the way of beauty. It also helps me in preparation for masses with the Suggested Prayers of the Faithful on Sundays.
Truly life changing
I subscribed to Magnificat 23 years ago after I quit smoking as a reward to myself and I truly believe the years I have spent nourishing my life with Magnificat has had a profound impact on my love for my faith in the Catholic Church.

Last combination of updates rendered the app useless. The text is so small it’s completely unreadable even at Big+++ and iOS text size maximum! Everything from the title Mass through the entire Gospel is on one screen and can’t be changed - that’s right, font size adjustments only change the titles, not the normal text! If this is not fixed immediately I’m going to have to cancel my subscription.

New change - Font size too small!
The font size on the latest version is much too small. The text is a small size and I can’t make it bigger than what was once the smallest setting. Please fix this.
Where are the Bible notations??
I love the Magnificat app but why are the Bible chapter and verse notations not listed before the readings this month? They always were previously; I use them to read further in my Bible and now we have no idea where these readings are from. Please brings the notations back!!
