Doesn't zoom enough
The maximum zoom on this magnifier is not nearly strong enough. The camera zoom is sifnifacnty better. Why can't this app zoom in as far as the camera?!
not very functional
when I zoom in it does not save the zoomed aspect (Samsung does this) and I get a zoomed out image saved

When I go to the app it glitches the next day it doesn’t and sometimes it can be helpful.
Focus options are bad
Tap to focus does nothing, there is no way to manually focus. In hiding this functionality Apple made the tool impossible to use in some cases.

i use this app a lot and it helps me so much being legally blind and it’s so easy to use i have recommended it to so many people because they see me using it, it helps me a lot with school and it doesn’t fill up your camera roll with photos that you do not need and to the people that say this app sucks think about this it was free and accessible tech for blind people is overpriced like something similar with cost a stupid amount of money like probably 200 bucks

Throws away capture (photos) unless you press 3 buttons between each capture. Awful design for work.
Read title. I am trying to quickly snap lots of precise photos in one hand and I wonder where all the photos went. Not even in the trash, they are unrecoverable, unless you click send button for each photo. Imagine trying to snap hundreds of photos using magnifiers filters to precisely capture text or part numbers or any fine detail, you know for a MAGNIFIER. Trash, 0 out of 5.

Very scary app
When I was trying this app it put on like a really scary filter and then text appeared on the screen that says I can see you
Its a good app!
So i have had this app for many years - no problems also just use it to look closely into like jeans to see the cool texture right. And , there has been a update with the app that has only been letting you do selfies of that part if the camera-its slightly annoying but it is what it is ! Battery usage high
I used this app for a short time & then switched to other apps on my iPhone 16 Pro. In the evening I was streaming a podcast as I often do & the phone shut down suddenly. I connected it to power and saw that the battery was down to close to 0% charge. Settings, Battery indicated high battery usage by this app. When I use it again I won’t leave it running in the background afterwards.

Control panel is STUCK ON SCREEN
Whose bright idea was it to NOT allow the control panel to be HIDDEN?? IT COVERS TEXT!!! ☹️ This is ridiculously STUPID. I can’t find ANYTHING in this app that lets me GET RID of it.
Hire someone with a REAL vision impairment so you guys can understand what works and what doesn’t, please.
And, PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!! This is a literal pain in the REAR!!

This app is the W of the century
This app is so amazing can’t put it down to much fun! I love zooming in on small detail things and stuff total W my dude!

The maximum zoom on this magnifier is not nearly strong enough. Using the camera on Snapchat is a better magnifier than this one . If Snapchat can do it why can't Apple?
