Listen. I’ve been in a committed relationship with Magoos since roughly 2007. It was a simpler time. I had fewer responsibilities, a brighter wardrobe, and had to actually use my phone as a phone. We’ve been through a lot together, Magoos and I. Birthdays, breakups, “I-don’t-want-to-cook” Tuesdays.
And now? Evolution. Revolution. Pizza-lution.
Downloading the Magoos California Pizza app felt like finding a secret tunnel to Narnia, if Narnia was made of crispy, delicious dough and haunted by the benevolent ghost of the Awan family cuisine. The interface is cleaner than my kitchen counter after a Magoos box has been licked clean. It’s intuitive, quick, and blessedly free of the clutter that plagues other food apps. It just makes sense, like the perfect flavor combination you didn’t know you needed (shoutout to the Chicken tikka pizza, you’re a wizard).

Is it perfect? Well, I have one complaint. The “Emergency Order” button (for when a crisis can only be solved by pepperoni) is a little small. I’d suggest making it the entire home screen. Just a thought from a dedicated professional.
