About

Waiter App is the order-taking app for restaurants running Mahir RMS. Staff take orders standing at the table on a phone, the kitchen receives them straight away, and nobody walks back to a counter terminal to punch anything in. You need a Mahir RMS account to use it. Staff sign in with the username and password their restaurant issues them. FIVE ORDER TYPES Dine In, Take Away, Delivery, Third Party and Car Service. Dine-in asks for a table and a cover count. The others take a reference number, and delivery or third-party orders ask for an address when the order belongs to a real customer instead of a walk-in. Third-party tickets are tagged with the aggregator company they came from. TABLES AND FLOOR Tables are grouped by the categories you set up in the back office, whether that is indoor, outdoor, terrace or hall. Each one shows as free, occupied, reserved or billing, and you can search a table by name instead of hunting through the grid. The home screen keeps a floor summary plus a Your Tables list, so a waiter sees their own live tables at a glance. MENU, VARIANTS AND ADD-ONS The whole menu sits on the device: categories, products, photos, variants and prices. Search by name. Items with add-on groups open a sheet with the required and optional choices, minimum and maximum limits and a running total, so "two toppings, no onion" goes in correctly the first time. The same dish ordered two different ways stays two separate lines. CART Change quantity with the stepper or type it on a keypad. Attach a note to one item from preset chips or free text, and add order notes and kitchen notes for the whole ticket. The summary shows subtotal, tax, service charge and grand total in your currency: Rs, $, EUR, GBP, INR, AED or SAR. SENDING AND EDITING ORDERS Place the order, or place and print. If your setup allows drafts, save one and start it later. An order already on the floor can be edited, so you add items, raise quantities and update notes, and it updates the existing ticket instead of creating a second one. Items already sent to the kitchen cannot be quietly reduced from the app; that stays a counter decision. ORDER QUEUE Seven tabs: All Orders, Pending, Processing, Ready, Served, Completed and Cancelled. Search by token or table. From a row you can open the bill, print, edit, view the order, start a draft or record guest feedback. ONLINE ORDERS AND ALERTS Web and online orders land in a notifications list with an unread badge, and staff accept them from there. When the kitchen marks a ticket ready or served, the waiter gets a notification and tapping it opens that order. Everything refreshes live over a socket connection. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL The menu is cached on the device after the first sync, so browsing and building a cart carry on through a dead spot. Sending orders, bills and printing need a connection. Re-Sync Full Menu pulls a fresh copy when the menu changes, and it only replaces the local copy once the download succeeds, so a failed sync never leaves a waiter with an empty menu. CUSTOMERS Search existing customers by name or phone, or add one on the spot with a country code and address. Walk-in is the default. GUEST FEEDBACK A review form staff can hand over after a meal: ten questions covering food, service, cleanliness and ambience, plus restaurant comparison, visit frequency, birthday and anniversary. One review per order. SETTINGS Change your password, pick your currency symbol, and choose between the classic categories-then-products browse or the tabbed layout. Three dashboard designs are included, Bento, Ops Board and Vivid Coral, if you want a different look on the floor. Built by AlmahirHub for Mahir RMS.
