app not recognizing a mah jong

i have all the things and app isn’t recognizing it and/or
giving me a mah jong button

Love—just one question

This is a great app. One of the best bot games I’ve seen or played. I like how you can add friends, I just haven’t done it yet—but am eager to see how it works. My friends and I play with blanks, and I like having them in the Parlour games, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to exchange them. Seems like it would be intuitive because everything else, but every time I try I end up discarding something I wanted to keep. Any help?

Love!

Super cute and easy to use I play with my mom and friends on this app. Love love, love!!!

Great App, 1 problem

I absolutely adore this game. I love the artwork, the calling of tiles, the opportunity to have bots play slow or normal speed.

My only qualm is not having the option to look at the whole score card. Since I’m paying money for this app, getting the option added to open it during my games would be spectacular.

Lessons on iPad needs help

I really like this app and play on my iPad. But the lessons don’t work. The screen doesn’t scroll down and the continue prompt doesn’t show so can’t move on. Discovered this after adding app to my phone.

Remember when everything wasn’t a subscription?

Why on earth would I pay $7/month for a mahjong app? Remember when you would just buy an app for $0.99 or MAYBE $1.99. And then you would just be able to play the game…without ever having to pay more…
Or sometimes there was even a free version you could use until you wanted to upgrade and pay that $1.99 one time fee.

This just feels so icky. Also, buying tiles sets within the game? Come on. Capitalism at its worst.

1 star because the design seems good but you can’t play for free unless you let them have your credit card info.

Game Play is Great

Amazing game play but I think it could use a notification setting to see when friends invite you to play.

So fun - some visibility issues

This is my favorite online mahjong game. The only issue is unless you play with “high visibility tiles” the tiles are laughably unreadable and there is no way to make them bigger. It’s very frustrating.

Love!

I really love this game! It’s beautiful and I love that you can play with friends. my 2 biggest wishes would be more tile sets, and the ability to play with blanks in the real game.

Amazing!

Beautiful tiles! Only 4 stars because I would like to have the Mahjong beginners round back to relearn steps.

New at game

It gives you a chance to learn your card and make hands

Beware of Charges

I was charged $50 and did not intend to subscribe. Very confusing.

Pretty close to real

This app is pretty good. It would be nice if the hold and pass buttons were bigger. It was also a little too easy to discard the wrong tile.

Prettiest Game!

I have tried several different and this is the best one I have found. I love the different color and tile options. I would love to be able to purchase more tile designs. I would also like to be able to purchase the app in a one time price instead of a monthly subscription, but still it’s my favorite I have found so far.

I want to love it!

I love the realistic play but I don’t find myself using it very much because I need my card. I love a game while I’m sitting in a carpool line or taking a break at the office but I don’t love having to balance my phone and card. I think this would be a slam dunk if there were a way to slide the Nmjl card hands out from the side. Other games keep you from having to really strategize and know your card by showing you TOO much about the hands you can build, but this one doesn’t help you enough. Just a place to reference the hands would be so helpful!

Best app for learning

This app has made it so helpful to learn how to play Mahjong! It is so aesthetically pleasing, love the tile styles. I recommend this game to a lot of my friends 😊

Fun game!

I am loving the Mahjong Parlour game! As a new mahjong player, it’s giving me a lot of great practice and helping me learn the different lines and rules.

I am running into a glitch though….there have been several times when I have finished my line, I get the message “Ready to Declare!” In my hint box above my tiles, but the blue Mahjong button does not appear. I’m not sure how to declare a mahjong without the button. I end up just having to keep discarding until tiles run out and then no one wins. This has happened at least 3 times today—I’ve had a mahjong, get the “ready to declare” message but can’t actually declare the mahjong.

Love the design, needs some work for newbies

Beautiful design. I am newly learning to play. If the exposure doesn’t match, please give a reason why and an option to undo that move. Otherwise I’m stuck and have to go to a new card and I don’t really understand what I played wrongly. Thank you!

Very realistic

This is the best mahjong game I’ve found so far. I feel like it really recreates the game accurately. I like that you even drag the tiles when you discard or do a joker exchange. I love the different tile sets and the overall theme. I like that you can play with your friends online. I also feel like the price is fair for the quality of the game. You will need the NMJL card to play.
