Timeless
I’ve been playing this game for 13 years. Still love it. The tile sets are beautiful and the music is just right for the game. My only suggestion would be to offer a variation on the classic version with new paintings or some other mini-game between sections of Venice. Thank you, Andreas.

I love this game
I absolutely love this original take on the classic mahjong game. I love the tiles and the mini puzzles when you play in classic mode, and the different tile sets and layouts. I also love that there’s no ads, no in-app purchases or subscriptions. I can play this game offline too.
My only quibble is that the game looks kind of stretched and funny on my iPhone 11 Pro, which makes it a little hard to play. I’d bump this review up to five stars if the developer could fix that.
One in-app purchase I’d like to see is the ability to tip the developer as an additional thank you for such a great game.

Fun game...but an ad?!
I DONT WANT AN AD ON A GAME I PAID FOR.
I like this game. It’s easy to play, visually appealing, and I can play when I have a few moments here and there. But if you do not want any ads, as I do not, then do not purchase this game. Why, on a game that I paid for, is there an advertisement on the “continue” screen linking to another game from this developer?!?! It’s easy to miss the continue button and hit the ad instead, which takes you to the App Store. This issue needs to be fixed. I won’t buy the linked game on principle.

App is Broken
Good game, but it goes black (Dead ends)As soon as I construct my doomsday machine within the game. The screen goes black and game is totally unresponsive. Very disappointing, because the game is enjoyable. Please fix or return my money.

Have been playing this game since it first came out years ago. The new levels and tiles are fun. I love that the developer keeps updating the game with new levels and new tiles. 2020 and still love the game.
Venice mystery
I wrote to you about a month ago. My problem is the game doesn’t give me enough time to get 4 alike tiles. I get 2 tiles and I go to get the other2 tile and I can’t get. The time is too short
For me to get to the other tiles. I am a senior citizen, so maybe I am too slow. I have been with this for a lot of years. I would appreciate an answer.

Hello, thanks for your feedback and sorry for the trouble. What you can do is to choose "Play in untimed Relax Mode" the next time you start a new Map Play game. From the title screen choose MapPlay -> More Levels -> choose your LevelPack -> Untimed Relax Mode. When you do this - the game runs without the timer. This is my go to game, I have played it since it was first released, it has had so many levels added to it since the beginning and graphically is very pleasing 😊

Have had this game for a long time and still enjoy playing it. I do wish you could add some cool tiles. The flowers were nice, but need some other fun colourful tiles! Plus some different layouts would be great.

A Classic From The Golden Days Of The App Store

If you love mahjong, you’re going to ABSOLUTELY LOVE this game.
It is fun and very challenging, and is really great for using your memory ...especially the higher in levels you go.....and there are a TON of levels!!!
I also like that there are many tiles to choose from too.

Not So Good
Had the original version for several years & enjoyed it.
The original re-arranged the tiles once a puzzle was finished.
In the new version the tiles remain the same every time you re-do a particular puzzle. After a few rounds of a particular puzzle it becomes boring.

Thanks for your feedback. Did you see that there is an option for QuickPlay and Map Play? Maybe you did only play the QuickPlay - which has only a few levels. You should try all the different sets under Map Play.

Great fun game. But I started getting game ads between levels, all the time and it’s annoying!!!! I paid for my first game years ago, I think, and I hate ads every time I move forward! Can they be blocked???

If you are playing the full version "Mahjong Venice Mystery Classic" there are no ads. Please make sure you download the correct version.

Love this game
I really enjoy this version out of all the mahjong games; which are many. I admit I haven’t ventured into hard games at all and medium very seldom. I find the easy games difficult enough, especially with the time constraint. I am not complaining as this is my problem but I do wish you had a no time version only as I have Parkinsons and therefore a tremor which when stressed exacerbates:). Now understand I wish it for ease of playing and enjoyments’ sake only. I do not expect nor ask for it.
The game is great. I find it fun, challenging, unique and imaginative. The tiles are attractive and easy to see. I love the idea behind finding all the specific tiles within the time required,(though see above note; notwithstanding). Nonetheless, nice job guys. This is, I repeat the BEST Mahjong game on the market.
