About
MaidDay (出糧啦) is a salary estimation and record-keeping tool for Hong Kong employers of foreign domestic helpers (FDHs).
Use a simple calendar to record work days, rest days, annual leave, sick leave, compensatory leave, absence and overtime. MaidDay updates the estimated salary breakdown automatically for each pay period.
Features:
• Record full or half-day annual leave, sick leave and absence
• Track rest days, statutory holidays and compensatory leave
• Record full-day or half-day overtime
• Add common or custom deductions
• Manage up to three helper profiles
• Share a calendar with trusted family members
• Export clear PDF salary records with signature spaces
• Receive optional pay-period reminders
• Use English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia or Filipino
• Contract-end settlement. When the employment ends, MaidDay calculates what is owed: wages to the last working day, payment for untaken annual leave, return passage, the travelling allowance, and payment in lieu of notice. It determines whether severance or long service payment applies from how the contract ended and how long she served — and explains every zero rather than leaving you to guess. Produces a bilingual settlement statement you can both sign.
Not legal advice. Verify figures with the Labour Department before paying.
MaidDay is designed to make monthly record keeping clearer and more consistent. It is an estimation and record-keeping aid for general reference only and does not constitute legal, accounting, payroll, tax or other professional advice.

Choose how pay periods are counted. Some employers pay from the contract start date (the 14th to the 13th), others settle by calendar month with a month-end payday — MaidDay now supports both, set per helper. • New "Pay period type" setting in each helper's profile. • Calendar-month mode always runs whole months, with payday at month end. • The joining month is pro-rated automatically: days before employment are itemised as a deduction, so the first payslip matches the days actually employed — and those days are locked on the calendar. • PDF fix: the final-settlement export now itemises the unworked-days deduction that was already reflected in the total.
