Life saver
This app is an absolute life saver. Trying to make groups on my Gmail from my computer was an absolute pain. This app is so easy to setup, and I can easily make groups and subgroups on the fly.
Search function is lacking
This app would be so much better if the search function was more versatile. Right now, if you search for a name or email, it shows you which group that name is located in but doesn’t give you the ability to go right to that name. You have to go into the group and scroll until you find it. You should be able to search within a group and it should take you right to the email you are looking for. At the VERY least, the names and emails should be organized alphabetically. They are just thrown in a group.

It does not work!
Just purchased Mailshotpro for my iPad which is running iOS 17.2. I had watched a U-tube video and it appeared to do exactly what I wanted for sending group emails. But it does not work as it does not create a group contact in “Contacts”. Rather a waste of £3.99.

Love this app. So easy to use. If issues arise the support is above and beyond. Highly recommend. Super pleased.
Format doesn’t work.
There’s no way to increase font size. I can’t format my email.

This app works great for communicating with a group. I use it for a golf league and it works very well. Peter the developer gets back to you immediately if you have a question or a problem. Both times i reached out to him his quick answer solved my problem. I would recommend this app very highly
Excellent support
Started using the app to manage my client list. Then recommended to wife to install it on her pad to manage golf women’s club members, since she wants the list readily available when she is at the club, the app was added to her iphone as well. We then noticed the lists between the two devices are not in sync. After emailing the support, Peter promptly provided suggestions for us to try, with Peter’s help, we eventually fixed the problem, now the two devices are perfectly in sync.
It is a hit and miss to get good software support even for pricy ones.
The app is simple and easy to use, for a price of a cup of coffee, you can’t go wrong!
Suggestion for improvement- a simply duplication check will make it even a better app.

Thanks for your great comments. Please drop me a line from the Support button in the app to explain your suggestion, if you haven't already, I'd love to hear it. (Mailshot does spot duplicates if you try to add the same email address to a group more than once, and will also remove duplicates automatically when you use Multi mode to send to two groups at once. The next update will also let you search for a contact among your groups)

Pro MailShot
Heard of this app just yesterday. I wanted to be able to send emails and files to my Google Groups from my iPhone. My larger Groups number up to 200 so involves working with a lot of addresses. I read this inexpensive app should really help and it did. The support was great. I sent a question email and got the answer within a few hours. I am pleased with Pro MailShot

Took two weeks for an email to go out to group
The only reason I gave three stars is because this is the seemingly the only app to use with an iPad for email groups, which stinks that Apple won’t do better than that so you can make groups in your email and not have to use a third party app to do this. Which doesn’t work so well. Setting it up was easy enough, making groups and such. And maybe the first couple of emails I sent out to my group went out quickly, but now it takes two weeks, sometimes longer. I sent out an email that was urgent on Thanksgiving and it didn’t reach people until at least two weeks later.

This issue is not from Mailshot, but comes from your email provider (who I can be pretty sure will be Gmail as they are the only provider who sometimes delay group email in this way, probably as an anti-spam measure). Please drop me a line from the support button in the app and I will be happy to explain the options available to avoid this.

This is probably the best app on my iPhone. The new update including able to export a group as a csv file is a welcome update.

Easy to create and send to groups
Apple Mail is terrible for sending emails to groups. I can’t figure out why they have never addressed this—I can’t be the only one to have struggled with this, until I discovered this app. Makes it easy to import contacts from my contact list and into a group. Such a time saver! Have not had any problems in the several months I’ve been using it. Thanks!

Easy group email app
I have been using the pro version for a few years. Easy way to send out a bulk email to many recipients at one time. I add myself to the list of recipients so I know that the email has been delivered.
Very good - finally
Gave up on earlier versions but this one works fine. Ui is a bit strange but you get used to it. Being able to copy to clipboard is huge as I don't use the standard mail app.

MailShot Pro
I have been using this app and TextShot Pro for several years and find them both to be extremely intuitive. I use these apps for many things (i.e. communicating efficiently with church members, team members at work, etc.)...
Excellent program and support
I used MailShot Pro in the past on a second generation ipad and was very pleased with it. When a tried to load it on my sixth generation it would not restore. Apple appeared to be charging me again. I contacted the program developer and he was very prompt and helpful. The program is loaded and working correctly. I highly recommend it! I was “disgustedformermailshotuser”. Now I am “verysatisfiedmailshotuser”.
